Easy to install

Going back id look at all options, but for what it is, it works good. Camera quality is above-average and audio leaves some to be desired, at the end of the day its a doorbell that works and is easy to install.

The are notification cams not monitoring cams. Hence the reason they are called BLINK. You get notified when something is happening. If you want to consistently watch to see whats happening on cam religiously, then these are not for you. You only get to view a short recording wait 10 secs to start recording again. Just a Blink!

Blink Doorbell Camera

Night quality is poor if placed in dim lighted areas. Daytime video quality is very clear. Would not recommend if using as real time surveillance.

We are continually working to improve upon our products and services through updates to our lineup and software from feedback just like yours! Sometimes dimly lit areas can affect the transition from daytime to night time video like you are describing. One thing you can do to improve upon the delayed response time is to check your Network Strength for your doorbell. You can do this in the Blink app by tapping the 3 dots for your doorbell and then tapping General Settings. If your Network Strength is not full and green, you can try to position your Wi-Fi router closer to improve your connection. There is also a Blink Sync Module that you can purchase separately, that could improve your connection as well.
