It rings outside not inside my home. It is a couple of minutes behind on notification. I had to put my old doorbell back to ring. Geek squad apparently was not an option on this item

Decent but major difference between Blink and Ring

If you are communicating with someone at the door this lag makes the conversation very difficult.
