The app’s UI is not hard too use, but it is not that intuitive either. I needed to purchase the vertical wedge separately because I couldn’t see below waste level on my front porch. It would be nice if both side and vertical wedges were included. Better yet, an adjustable camera angle via the app would be best, but that would likely drive up the price. Worst of all is the video quality. Most objects are red or red tinted. My front lawn looks rust colored. Perhaps my camera is faulty. I’ve contacted support and waiting for a response.

Although I had to purchase separately the sync module 2 to have the motion, live view and put a USB memory so wouldn’t have to pay for a subscription after the free trial month.

No matter what kind of brand you used. You'll always find yourself changing the battery every weekends. Overall the quality is ok. It does it's job and you pay for what you get.

If you are constantly replacing or charging your Blink Doorbell there are a few things you can do. This issue is likely due to a combination of factors like high activity in your front yard, excessive motion detection, frequent live view usage, poor Wi-Fi signal strength, extreme weather conditions, or simply having the sensitivity settings too high on your doorbell, causing it to record more motion events than necessary, which is draining the battery faster.

I love that I can adjust sensitivity from my phone, or turn off notifications. 10/10 would definitely recommend, especially because you have the option to wire it to an existing bell or have it wireless.

Better than Ring

Picture quality is about the same or slightly better than Ring (I had Ring v2 and Pro), with a wider field of view for the Blink. I like how it is both wired and battery powered, where the Ring was either/or but not both. I've had Blink outdoor cams for a couple years now and can confirm 2+ years of battery life per device. I switched mainly for the cost, Ring recently raised prices for cloud storage to $39.99 per year per device (~$80/year for me). Comparatively Blink cloud plan is $100/year for all devices including Blink doorbells, outdoor and indoor cameras (of which I have more than 10 altogether). Also the Blink cloud plan is optional if you have the Sync Modules, so viewing captured videos with Blink can be as little as $0. With Ring, if you do not have a cloud plan, it will not capture video, you can only interact with the doorbells in Live mode, which means you can't capture porch pirates like you can with Blink.
