As with Ring a subscription for a small price is offered and the same for the Blink doorbell

I mostly got it just for knowing when people come into our driveway and I could check up on my kids playing in the driveway. Only thing I hate is needing a subscription for it to record motion detection even after buying the sync module.

For local storage issues, ensure your USB flash drive is properly formatted (FAT32) and securely inserted into the Sync Module 2. The drive should be between 1GB and 256GB for optimal performance. To improve picture quality, check that your doorbell has a strong WiFi connection and try cleaning the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. You can also adjust video quality settings in the Blink app under your doorbell's camera settings. While the Blink Video Doorbell offers basic functionality at its price point, we understand these limitations can impact your experience. I hope that helps, have a great day!

My only complaint is when the app is open on a another device it take a good 2-3 minutes to load on my phone.I hope more features come in
