    I really wanted to love this! I thought it would be like my friend’s—she has the hardwired version. It senses people approaching the door and “turns on” so you can see a lighted ri g around the doorbell and know you are being recorded. This does not, or I haven’t set it up properly. I have to open the app from my phone and it takes a bit of time to connect to the internet. By then if someone takes a package they are long gone. Thats why I got this doorbell—to check on/prevent package theft.

    It's okay if you like giving your acct ID/PW to everyone. Rather go w/something that has different profiles w/their own preferences for notifications for each person in the household. This product does not observe that aspect. Audible notification is for the doorbell only.
