If I could give a 0 star I would. I have spent a month with tech support trying to get this thing going. Turns out the serial number was assigned to another purchaser. I had to prove ownership thru various emails. Person assigned to my case, Zach, never responded with resolution.

It dies soo quick and I change the battery every 4 days it’s crazy

Well the only thing about this doorbell it was not able to hook up directly to the echo show 8 like the ring doorbell so we took it back in return for the ring instead

Not best camera and wouldn’t catch video when I needed it to.

honestly im not too happy about this purchase. the doorbell takes forever to load so i can never see whos there right away. it goes off constantly at nothing, but the price is good and you dont need to have monthly payments on it.

I think it would have been a great tool. As I am not technologically inclined I had a hard time putting it together. Went by Geek Squad and they said they could not help me without coming to my house and installing it for a fee. All I wanted was for them to show me how to snap on the back cover. ?

When it did work, it was good. Wouldn’t stay online

Camera would disconnect randomly even with range module that came with it. Very unreliable. Bought a Ring, problem solved.

You have to pay monthly yo see the videos that the system save

This piece if junk doesnt even snap into the mount that is supposed to hold it attached to the house. Not to mention, no screws to hold it in place. Anyone can grab it and steal it. I wish I had read the negative reviews before purchasing. Luckily Best Buy is great at returns. I’ve had 4 Ring brand doorbells since 2020 and was hoping for one to finally work properly. Nope.

Very disappointed the doorbell does not ring inside . I only have wifi available. I don't have existing doorbell

The Blink Video Doorbell is a doorbell with HD video capabilities (day and night) and two-way audio. And the Sync Module is the hub required to expand surveillance to other security products from Amazon. Setup by way of the Blink Home Monitor app is very simple. The doorbell sends alerts whenever motion is detected and when people actually press the button to ring the doorbell - the only two configurations I needed to change (so far) were the sensitivity of the motion detection and the volume of the alert for the doorbell on my phone. Navigation within the app is intuitive and I like the design and configuration options in the app. The doorbell can operate without the Sync Module 2, but you will need to purchase a subscription plan to save photos or videos. The Sync Module 2 has a USB port where you can use your own thumb drive to save photos and videos locally without having to purchase a subscription. And the Sync Module allows you to expand your surveillance options to include additional Amazon devices. The doorbell runs on batteries that they assure us can last up to two years. I have mine mounted independently - which means that the doorbell itself (outside) chimes (outside) and sends a similar chime to my phone. If you want to mount this doorbell as a replacement of an existing doorbell in your home, you simply connect your existing wires to this device and it will operate your internal chimes like a pushbutton switch. Daylight photo and video are excellent - nighttime photo and video are very good. I'm impressed with the motion detection capabilities and I like that I can turn on the camera remotely from my phone to look out from my front door. Make sure you have the tools and the know-how to be able to mount this in whatever material you have outside your door. It took me WAY longer to drill through the brick in front of my house than it took to setup the doorbell and hub and get it configured. This gives me added peace of mind without needing to pay for a subscription. Highly recommended.

Mounting design is horrible. Loved the template for predrilling the holes but the mounting bracket is a nightmare. 6 notches on a cheap plastic mount that need to be aligned and slid to another cheap clip - impossible to do. Broke with minimal pressure to 'slide' the 6 hooks into place. I love Blink but this is a huge miss. Too bad as never did know how the doorbell worked at all

This doorbell camera is terrible. Very delayed almost by 20 seconds. You can never hear the person on the opposite end. Also, no one can hear you speak to them… pointless and the monthly charge isn’t worth it

It has not been recording and saving anything for past 2 months. I called blink several times and they mention that there is a form where issue that they have to fix and it will take some time. It has been 2 months and the issue is still not fixed. Multiple sync modules are having issues recording and saving clips.

Disconnects all the time it doesn’t have human recognition

Only work on 2.4GHz Wifi. Very huge delay and lag. Even with only 10-15 ft away from Very powerful Wifi Router.

Love the notification feature camera clarity and able to speak through feature. Customer service very helpful when setting up.

It's the worst! Get a RING camera!!! I've had to buy 2; the first one stopped working after a year, the second one stopped working after a couple of months. Do not buy it!
