I have two additional cameras to make up for its limitations. In all fairness, it is no better and no worse than Ring or some of the others that I have seen. Quality is great, just viewing area is marginal at best.

Though i could hook it up to the door bell power like the Ring doorbell but that's not how it works. If you have a busy from door you will have to change it the batteries fairly quick. Other than that everything else is good. Now if your in an apartment and only have batteries then yes this will work great.

I wish the audio was better and the picture is decent. You can also buy USB flash drive so you don’t have to have a monthly subscription for video monitoring.

The mounting plate is essential, especially if you’re dealing with a 90’ degree wall to the left of your front door, with limited mounting space. Before you do a final installation, I recommend power on the unit first, setup your cameras and then “dry fit” checking your viewing area and height before you install permanently.
