For a system with no subscription, no cloud/self storage of video this camera system is def the way to go. From my research it is the only brand that offers this. Also great gear.

Its good if wired. Batteries drain really quick. But overall its just as good as ring

It's very convenient. The battery life is awesome. I have not replace it since last year's purchase. They high resolution of the camera is incrediablely great.

Well, I bought this product and first of the moves. I have put batteries in it for to work. The batteries do not stay charged long enough for you to do anything with it very unhappy and very, not satisfied.

The Blink doorbell with the cink 2 module works flawlessly. Every thing with the exception of a usb thumb drive is included.

This works great . I used it in my front door. Helps to see who is dropping of packages.

The product was good but the sales person do not have idea about the product.l didn't want to buy a camera which need subscription and the sales person told me that this product do not need subscription but when l read the manual it needs subscription.Its ridiculous. I can't return it has been more than a month since l purchased it

The best thing about this device is that as long as you purchase the Sync Modules, you will not have to pay for subscription

Crap .. didn’t work from day one kept disconnecting.. when I called best buy to return I got attitude from the lady at the Morse rd store who didn’t wanna put a manager on the phone to help me. I told her it’s broke. And in within return time. She said good luck with that. Hear I am 9 months later and still don’t work it’s sitting here in my kitchen drawer.

The back plate is a little tricky to align with the front to get it secured. If your old wires are bulky, you’re going to have to get creative.

If you want an affordable solution, and another monthly subscription then this may be for you. If you plan to use the Sync module for recording, and bypass the subscription there are many better options. Without the ongoing subscription there are some(IMO) bare minimum features that are stripped: No ability to delete multiple clips from the app No ability to record on demand No ability to auto-delete clips based on age or storage capacity The hardware itself is adequate for the price. Video is clear, but the audio could definitely be improved. Viewing clips, was much faster when using the cloud storage when compared to viewing them from the sync module. The ability to mount the device, and not require any existing cabling is nice, but common in this space. Requiring an ongoing subscription in order to use basic features is a failure. I am using this at a rental property, and plan to move to another solution after the current lease.
