It takes forever for it to turn on and connect to the wifi, then to the Blink server and start recording. Will miss people on the porch 5 feet away from the camera in full view. It misses way too much and it takes forever to connect to it for a Live view.

I'll see absolutely no movement but it creates clips throughout the night. Other than that, the setup is simple and the app is straightforward for functionality.

It has definitely served its purpose 10 times over it’s motion activated records clips in the intervals you set once motion is detected and stores them and alert you and you can answer the door when you’re not even home, it has come in so useful I love it I would recommend it

It took me less than 5 minutes to replace my old unit. Moreover, this unit works with Alexa, and you could use Alexa as the chime—giving you many options as a response. The app setup is seamless and tests your equipment during the process. You cannot go wrong with this doorbell cam!

I was told batteries would last 6 months if the doorbell was not wired and they lasted only 3 months before I had to replace them. The camera frequently goes offline and you have to pop the doorbell off in order to reset it. So in this regard, it is annoying to have to go through this to reset it, but the camera is useless when offline. And if you are not home to reset it, then it is not doing what it is intended to do. Spend the extra money to get a different brand.

I am sorry to hear about the experience you are having with the device and have some recommendations to try and help. For the offline issue, I recommend rebooting your Wi-Fi router. Unplug your Wi-Fi router for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Restarting your router can help when your Wi-Fi is slow or stops intermittently. Also, check the connection between your Wi-Fi router and your doorbell. You can do this by tapping the more icon at the bottom right of the doorbell's thumbnail image and selecting Device Settings, tapping General Settings, then locate Network and confirm the Connection to Wi-Fi is sufficient. For better motion detection, try these steps to adjust sensitivity: 1. Tap More (...) on your camera's thumbnail and select Device Settings.
2. Select Motion Settings.
3. On Motion Sensitivity, move the slider two or three increments to the right for a higher numeric setting. Tap Save to save this setting and walk out of the frame of view of this camera.
4. From the main screen of the Blink app, set your system to Armed to enable Motion Detection.
5. Test the camera sensitivity by introducing movement.
6. If the sensitivity is not successful, increase the slider more, save, and try again.
