Rather go w/something that has different profiles w/their own preferences for notifications for each person in the household. This product does not observe that aspect. In regards to paying for service, with the Blink Sync Module 2 that was included with your doorbell, you are able to save video clips to a USB drive plugged into the module without the need for a subscription. Never had a chance to use it because this requires rewiring of the house bell. The existing wiring may not work. I went with more cheaper, simpler solution as good as this.
