I bought this for my parents and it never works. I regret not buying then the ring doorbell. We have that and we love it but we wanted to give this one a try. I have changed the battery, troubleshooted the device by resetting, and even sent out an email but nothing worked at all. Please do no waste your money in buying this because you will quickly regret it. I wish I could have my money back or get one that actually works.

I am sorry to hear your Blink Mini 2 stop recording after the trial period ended. After your Blink subscription trial ends, your cameras will no longer save recordings to the cloud unless you subscribe to a plan. However, you can still use local storage with a Sync Module 2 and USB flash drive (sold separately) to record motion video clips. Hope this can help you use your camera, have a nice day!

It’s either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. There is no in-between that works for me. There also seems to be a lag when it records too. Sometimes when it picks up the motion, the object is already gone.
