Worst Doorbell Camera

I bought them for my rental properties to secure them while vacant. Not only do i not get notifications about motion, but it didnt even detect the motion AND didn’t record someone stealing 3 packages off my porch. I checked the settings, the motion zones, checked all settings. This device is garbage. Save your money. If you can, purchase Ring (even the old model i have works better than this Blink).

I wasn’t a fan of the quality of the camera. The images felt grainy, and not as clear as the Ring. But again that’s just my opinion. It also had issues connecting via the app, like it took 2 or 3 tries. It’s MID, not a fan.

It’s best for anyone looking at this product to consider a more expensive on that’s possibly wired and a different manufacturer as well.

They're not cheap. And you can wire them but it still eats up battery at almost the same rate. A set of batteries last a month if you're lucky sometimes it only lasted me 2 weeks, depending on usage. Also mounting and dismounting are a nightmare. You're better off going with the other popular brand. This has given me more headache than anything else.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with the Blink Video Doorbell. You may have had trouble with the connection if your Wi-Fi log in credentials were incorrect. The signal strength from your router may be too weak at the doorbell's location as well. It could also be possible that the network you have at home is set to 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz (which Blink devices require). You may want to restart your router, or there might be interference from other devices causing connection issues in your space.
