I was very skeptical of Blink but then I seen Amazon was the creator and it would work with the 1000 Alexa’s and Ecko’s in my house lol. I went for it and I have to say it has been working great and you can customize to your needs. The battery has been good so far. I recommend this product not only for new users but someone is not trying to spend tons of money.

Works well…when it works

I get that most video doorbell companies have some kind of subscription platform, but at least some include a base storage for recording and you just have to pay if you want extra. This one comes with alerts, but if you have an actual emergency you’re SOL as far as video recording goes (unless you opt in to their plan, of course). Just changed my wifi password and after multiple attempts and a lot of troubleshooting, I’m still unable to get the doorbell to reconnect. Guess it’s just an expensive piece of decoration now…
