Tried to get this to work for months. Finally got the camera to work but never the wired doorbell. Once the batteries needed replacing, a long customer service call determined there was something wrong with the unit itself, apparently, so they were good enough to send me a replacement, but another long customer service call we never could get it to work and it also took down my home wifi so I had to get that fixed. I went out earlier today and bought an old fashioned doorbell again for $5.99 and for the first time in months I now know if somebody’s at my door. Save your money.

Works great! Easy setup. Instructions were easily to follow and intuitive.

Easy to install and works well. Can also connect with cameras.

So I purchased this doorbell with the sync module 2 in christmas of 2021, setup was okay, connecting to the doorbell’s Wi-Fi was annoying most of the time until randomly works, then I’ve inserted the energizer batteries that was included with the doorbell, I had set the settings to everything as low, then when I tried to check the doorbell camera for a package I was expecting, The battery was dead, so I retracted the doorbell from the mounting piece and inserted more energizer batteries that I’ve bought yesterday of that day, I of course inserted the batteries again thinking that the batteries was the problem, and the battery still has ran out the same day, even on low settings, I’ve tried more brands such as duracell, and the battery life was still bad, another thing is that the doorbell’s camera does not sync very quickly in live view, the recording and audio was delayed by 5-10 seconds, also another thing was that even putting the doorbell’s capabilities to the highest level doesn’t do much in my opinion, the camera’s quality dosen’t look that much different in my opinion, I ended up returning this product a week later for store credit for a Ring Doorbell 2nd Generation (2020).

I purchased a blink video door bell kit brand new in box only to have it not work out of the box due to the sync module freezing up when trying to update it's firmware. brand new just opened and told it's out of warranty and sorry about you. they do not stand by their products it's and error in their software they basically bricked it and told me to buy another one. nope never again.

Seems to work well, has a bit of a sound that goes on and off but overall i think its a good product.

I had trouble with set up! I went back and forth with customer service for a little over a week. I set this doorbell up as “wireless” for my back door. I kept getting an error in the app saying “event response” and I could not figure out for the life of me what that meant. Apparently I was setting it up wrong and you are supposed to add the sync module first and then add your camera to the sync module system and not as a separate. Finally figured it out. I think it is ok- but not for a main doorbell! It is also very hard to mount.

Crystal clear veiwing! Worthy product i would recommend to everyone. Going to get a few more peices to the puzzle now!

Several months ago I wrote quite the positive review for the Blink doorbell with the Sync module. In fact, I gave it a 5-star rating. Now that I have had these many months to get some long-term, hands-on experience, I find I am nowhere near as satisfied with it as I once was. First, it uses two AA batteries in addition to being hardwired. The first time the batteries were low, I broke one of the tiny plastic clips used to hold the faceplate in place. The faceplate was so difficult to get off that when it finally came loose, it caused me to almost launc it into space…yes, it actually went flying across the front walkway. I managed to get it put back together with fresh batteries, but they too went dead, and I was faced with going through this ordeal once more. And sure enough, I broke yet another ear. Since then the doorbell has fallen off the mounting plate at least twice. The inside doorbell no longer sounds when the button is pushed on the Blink unit. And worst of all, it has not recorded a single alert since I replaced the batteries last time. It’s worthless. This is my own unique experience, but I would no longer recommend this product to anyone. Do yourself a favor, spend a few bucks more, and get one of the other name-brand doorbells.
