Mounting design is horrible. Loved the template for predrilling the holes but the mounting bracket is a nightmare. 6 notches on a cheap plastic mount that need to be aligned and slid to another cheap clip - impossible to do. Broke with minimal pressure to 'slide' the 6 hooks into place. I love Blink but this is a huge miss. Too bad as never did know how the doorbell worked at all

It has not been recording and saving anything for past 2 months. I called blink several times and they mention that there is a form where issue that they have to fix and it will take some time. It has been 2 months and the issue is still not fixed. Multiple sync modules are having issues recording and saving clips.

Disconnects all the time it doesn’t have human recognition

This doorbell camera is terrible. Very delayed almost by 20 seconds. You can never hear the person on the opposite end. Also, no one can hear you speak to them… pointless and the monthly charge isn’t worth it

You have to pay monthly yo see the videos that the system save

Love the notification feature camera clarity and able to speak through feature. Customer service very helpful when setting up.

Only work on 2.4GHz Wifi. Very huge delay and lag. Even with only 10-15 ft away from Very powerful Wifi Router.

It's the worst! Get a RING camera!!! I've had to buy 2; the first one stopped working after a year, the second one stopped working after a couple of months. Do not buy it!

My doorbell worked better than the camera but still took forever to open and load in the app. I would not recommend Blink and definitely would not rely on this system.

turns out it would not work for us! We are almost. 60. Our daughter looked at it and told us that it would not work for us, so we tried to return it!! and they would not take it back!! Because it was past 15 days. Really? so, we are out almost $100.00 dollars.

The backplate that attaches to the wall and the back of the doorbell keeps breaking. There are tiny plastic hooks on the back plate that attach to the doorbell. I attach the doorbell, all working great, then within 8 hours, the doorbell is on the ground because the hooks have broken. And no one has used it!

Blink cameras are not great. The delay is to long and when you click on a camera in the app it just spins and you have to restart the app two or three times before it works

Camera sucks, delayed live video and it constantly buffers.

This camera only records when the button is clicked, it never recorded when motion was involved. It advertises as being able to record when it detects motion, however, I had the camera facing my front door, and it never detected the 6 times a day we would open said door. I returned this camera. :(

Glad I got this it picks up everything I have a lot of foot traffic in my building and now I feel secure

Sync module is troublesome for staying connected to WiFi.

We installed this separate from our main door bell as we wanted to install this at our side door where we receive our deliveries. We have owned Blink outdoor cameras so we are already familiar on how to set up the module and connect it to our home wifi network. At first I thought it needs to be installed with an existing doorbell. But glad that it doesn't have to and simply use batteries to install it anywhere. We opted to use the angled back attachment because our side door panel is not quite straight and the view of someone waiting there isn't clear if we don't use the angled back. Installation is easy and required some basic tools. As with other Blink cameras, the module should be placed within considerable distance to the video doorbell or it will disconnect. We placed the module within about 5 ft from the doorbell and it works perfectly. Also, one must have a great wifi network because if the unit is placed far from the wifi, either the delay is noticeable or it will disconnect. The doorbell sound is loud enough to be heard where we positioned and I get notification on my phone almost instantly when someone presses the button. Once it's 'activated' you can speak to the person on the opposite end and the sound is clear and crisp and we can clearly hear the other person. You have the option to record the video conversation or discard. You also have the ability to set the length of the video capture and the sensitivity of the unit. What I really like about this is the instant notification on my phone and I can speak to the other person without being actually home. It says this unit works with Alexa but we have Google Home so I cannot comment on that. The only con would be the battery life. It quickly use up the juice when the unit is used more frequently. But this should not be a problem if the unit is installed using your existing doorbell. Overall, I like this unit for its ease of installation and use and it serves our purpose of having an 'eye' at our side door.
