Bought the 3 rd one it worked first shot. We have this same system at our house. Bought this for a gift for a family member. Was on the phone with Blink support for a few hours. They said it was the device both times. The 3rd one worked great!

Works, but needs improvement

Instructions say the doorbell will work wired or on battery. They also state the doorbell will work with your existing wired chime. However, I found this was not the case. It need 16V to power with the wires, and I have 24v at the connection and it still says it will have to work on battery and cannot work wired. Also, while connected to the wires, it constantly sounded my wired chime and would not stop. Camera has good video resolution but will not always catch what is going by as it seems to be delayed in recording when triggered. Overall serves the purpose, but wish it didn't have the issues we have encountered.

Motion detection is great the local storage is great so you don't have to do the subscription. The only con for me is not compatible with google home.

Just a starter/introduction system

The app though is pretty terrible not going to lie. Theres always a lag between the live feed and sometimes the app will fail to load the image. Theres not that many features and you also need to subscribe to their service to save any footage after the trial. Truthfully theres better options out there worth the investment. This is more of a starter option into a security system for your home.

Wireless was great. Picture quality was OK. Lagging photo may be the only issue I had but.

My biggest issue is it doesn't always get motion, which is required to start recording video on any Blink product. I have this same issue with their Floodlight Cam as well. It might as well be useless if it isn't triggering to record in first place, everything else about it doesn't matter at that point.
