I feel a lot safer owning these, I live in an apartment complex and sometimes we have transient people lurking around. I had a stranger who would knock on the door and ask for money, he hasn't been around ever since I installed my cameras [over half a year already] My only complaint is, sometimes the front door camera gets wacky and doesn't work unless I reset it, then it's back to normal. This only happens once every few months though. I'm assuming it's because that's the camera that is the most active. It's easy to use and they have an app where you can livestream any of the cameras. You can also save videos and post unusual activity on the "neighbors" app to alert fellow neighbors who have this app. [It's a big community]

Not really a security season with warnings. Delay often means deer and pedestrians are nearly gone before an image is taken. One unit constantly sends low battery warnings. Images are adequate. Love the sound feature.

Good quality. Easy to install and set up. I am not sure the batteries will live up to their two year suggested life. I will be interested to see how long they truly last. Speakers on cameras for talk back are practically useless though.

I've had these for almost 2 months now and have not had any issues. Installation was fairly simple and everything worked as expected. Overall quality of the picture/video is excellent. The app works great. No issues or complaints, just hoping the batteries last.

These cameras are easy to connect and install. Got them on sale and used some BB points. 3 cameras under $200 is a great deal! Better than getting the Ring Doorbell. Little bit of lag in the feed but that doesn't bother me. Going to buy more to add on. Highly recommend these! I have ALEXA all over my house and me and my wife love being able to ask her to show me camera 1 (front door) and it shows up on your tv. This is a sweet feature! Not having to pull up an app you can just verbally command alexa to show you who's at the front door while your watching tv. Hope this helps anyone who's on the fence, good luck

I bought these cameras for home security, and i absolutely love them. Your getting a great quality camera for a really affordable price. I have no complaints about them whatsoever, there easy to install and easy to set up..... Great product!!!

Excellent picture, able to watch in real-time over app. Very easy to set up and use. Love that I can hear on my phone and use the mic to talk. Only con is that the batteries will likely run out quickly, due to usage.

I have been using the Blink XT2 cameras for about 4 months now. I wanted to give it a decent amount of time before I wrote a review. I chose Blink over other brands because you don’t need a subscription and they’re also wire free. I also got these on a DEEP discount and ended up paying about $50 a camera which greatly affected my choice to purchase this brand. OK, so, as I mentioned, these cameras are battery operated. You use standard batteries that you can buy yourself at any store... you do not need to get special Blink batteries. I have to change the batteries on these cameras about once a month. The cameras are located in high traffic areas so the frequency of changing batteries was expected. One of the biggest complaints that I have about these cameras is the battery indicator. On the app you’ll just be able to see if your battery is “OK” or “REPLACE”. My battery started saying “REPLACE” yesterday morning but clearly it still has juice left because it’s still working right now. I wish there was a more accurate battery life indicator. I also don’t like that when the battery is low or out the red button on the camera is BRIGHT red… that’s really obvious to others to let them know there’s an issue. I have one camera outside, one camera inside to watch my dogs while I’m at work and one camera that’s behind a window but needs to be moved outside. The camera behind the window doesn’t catch motion but I knew that going in… I just haven’t gotten around to moving it yet. The camera that’s outside has a decent view both during the day and at night… I’m happy with what I see. There is a slight delay between when there motion is detected and when I’m notified about it. I also have run into trouble with not being able to hit “live view” in the middle of motion because the camera is still recording a clip. It wouldn’t be super helpful say if I saw someone breaking into my car and I wanted to yell at them to go away… they’d probably get in and out of my car before I had a chance to connect to “live view”. You have the amount of time that you choose for retrigger time in between getting the notification and selecting "live view"-- for me, that's 10 seconds. By the time I see my notification and open it up the 10 seconds have usually passed. I have to select 60 second clip length which is the longest you can do because the clips kept cutting off while motion was still happening and I was missing things. My choosing this setting doesn’t help the battery life but I don’t like how it cuts clips too short if I reduce the time length. Sometimes I still miss action because of the 10 second delay in between recordings which is a little concerning. For example, someone walked down my driveway and up to my steps which took about 60 seconds and I totally missed whatever they were doing in front of the camera after that until it started recording again when they were walking away. I’m glad I was able to turn off the blue recording indicator light. I turned it off so people wouldn’t know when it’s recording. The Blink camera is the only one I’ve come across that doesn’t have an alarm sound that you can use through “live view”. I feel like that might be useful if I caught someone doing something on camera. I think these cameras would be a little easy for thieves to grab if they were wise to their set up. I know they have to pop on and off of the stand easily for me to change the batteries but someone could definitely go up to it in a hoodie and take the actual camera down. Overall I am incredibly happy with my purchase. Do I think these are the best options for top security? No, not really. Do I think they’re affordable and “good enough” if you just need average security? Yes, I do. I think you have more options if you’re OK with wires being run through the walls but I wanted convenience and these fit the bill. The fact that Blink doesn’t charge for a subscription is what puts them ahead of other battery operated/wireless cameras.

These wireless blink cameras are pretty impressive. They have wonderful battery life. They say they last for two years, and that is what I got out of them. This is in inclement weather with four seasons. The camera features of being able to record, and turn on or off with motion, and able to send alerts to your phone is a plus. They can also be expanded to another set of cameras. Having them be wireless is not an issue for me. Price is reasonable as well. I gave them four stars just because there are better visually pleasing cameras out there, but these do a nice job.

These cameras are easy to install with the included hardware! Easy to monitor through the phone app! Wish the batteries would last a little longer but overall they do what they are designed to do! Would buy again!

Note: Only reason Im giving 4stars (instead of 5) is bc I have not had enough time to see how they are in the long term. These cameras are great for their price. Video is very clear 1080p and also has nightvision that is also very clear and HD. The best thing however is that its a One Time purchase. Competitors such as Nest and Ring are a paid service so you pay monthly to get the SAME protection. However with Ring that is not the case. The one time price is all you pay. This makes Ring the obvious choice for me. The companion app is up to date and easy to understand so set up and Linking devices took less than 10minutes. Overall happy with the purchase, and would buy more Ring cameras in the future.

Blink is an excellent product..... I see this item as a “You get what you pay for” item. It is more pricy than some other similar products, but the quality, ease of use, and wireless capability makes it well worth it. I recommend this product.

It is better than other wireless systems. The only drawback is of you are not on cable it has a few seconds delay on being able to talk and hear. The picture is very clear, color is great, night viewing if very good. No problems so far.

Pleased with the purchase. Good price. Good picture quality. Audio is mediocre. One camera (of 5) is hit and miss for activating. Basically serves the purpose I was looking for. Easy setup.

Purchased these to replace an older Arlo system that wasn't working very well anymore. Much easier to install, easy to maintain. The clip quality is fairly average, but for the price it serves the purpose.

Picture quality is good and in color. Night videos are excellent also. Easy to setup and use. Making changes is simple. One issue, sometimes can not reach the cloud to make changes or view videos.

We like this product for ease of use and because it is a wireless system. Great video clarity and night vision too. Love that you can talk and hear through all the cameras. Downside is short clips due to being wireless. Longer clips greatly reduce battery life. Also cameras have to be fairly close to the hub or there's no service. You can not zoom in on the video clips for these cameras like you can with the wired cameras. Overall great starter system if you dont want to have a wired security system installed or if you have a smaller home or an apartment.

I purchased one camera with a module. Hooked it up with a USB cable on my garage. The picture quality is very good. Night vision is OK... washes out in areas with bright lights. The microphone is very weak, even at full volume. A little disappointed with the max range that the motion sensor activates. About 20 to 25 ft. Most of the movement is coming right at my camera...the motion sensor works better with the movement going across the lens... I can see the full length of my driveway but does not activate until something is moving halfway up the driveway. I purchased a second camera with module and mounted it out front. Ran them as two separate systems. By running two systems instead of just adding a camera you can do separate settings for each camera. You can run both with the same app real easy...just select garage, or front. If you place the module too far away from the modem it will lose the signal. If you place the module close to the modem, the camera is to far away to connect with the module. Catch 22... I had to mount the front camera close to a window because my wifi was not strong enough to go through the walls. I do have my modem in the back of the house, so the front camera is a good distance away. I could not hook the front camera to a USB cable, so running on batteries. I did some research and discovered that even though I have a newer Comcast modem and good download speed...150mbs... they are not the best modems. I turned in my Comcast modem, purchased a new one at Best Buy. I had to get one that supported voice because I have a landline with Comcast. $200, but lowered my bill $13 a month by not leasing theirs. NOTE: If you run the blink camera on a USB...You NEED to remove the batteries. Plus I turned off the switch for the blue recording light inside the camera. That way no one will know if they are being recorded or not. Before I got the new modem I could not stream anything when in my front yard without using data...no wifi signal on my cell phone. I tested the new modem today! I went out to the front yard. I could go all the way across the street and down one house without buffering or losing the connection. To sum it up! Good camera & features for $99. I did purchase new cases with better mounting systems on Amazon for $10 each. They had hoods to block the sun, better angle selection, and inclosed the USB port to make the camera water resistant again. The Blink mount limits how low you can turn the camera without hitting the USB cable and negates the water protection on USB.

I’ve enjoyed this product for the most part. There aren’t many wireless cameras for outdoor use so we gave it a try to get some coverage on a blind spot around the house. We have it on a fence and exposed to the elements. The camera responds to and records when there is movement. I haven’t found it to be overly sensitive. And while the picture quality isn’t the best, it’s more than adequate for what it does. My only knock is that it doesn’t perform well when the outdoor temperature is overly hot. I assume I’ll have a similar issue in the winter. But the price won’t hurt your feelings and it’s simple to setup. Not the world’s best camera but a solid value for what it is.

We wanted a system that did not require paying for a monitoring company, was cost effective and wireless and this system was exactly what we were looking for. It was super easy to activate the sync module; all the cameras and mounting the cameras was simple and easy. Really impressed with all the individual camera features, for example microphone to speak to anyone the cameras pick up; clear color video and night vision, the ability to disarm all the cameras or individual cameras; sensitivity adjustments, the ability to block out certain zones on individual cameras to avoid false activations, adjustable video clip lengths, auto stop recording if motion stops and a decent amount of free clip storage. One key is you do need to have good WiFi coverage but overall an excellent system.
