Phone app works well as does "Talk" function, Super easy to setup. Yes, there is a slight lag but that is normal considering my home internet upload speed and all the data processing involved. After one month, no issues whatsoever. I added different mounts and enclosures which I painted to match my home's trim. But these are not bad looking as-is. Use better quality, stainless steel screws if you every plan to take them down or move the mounts.

Good Alternative To A Security System

They offer free cloud storage which gives instant updates when the camera is triggered. The camera doesn't pick up motion until about the moving object gets within 25 feet, hopefully Blink will work on increasing the distance. It is not a high powered system but for the price it is worth it.

Posted .The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions.
