Slow camera

Not very good at night, sensitivity not very good. After testing a few times, I realized that’s very slow to capture the motion. I pointed it at my truck walked to the truck started my truck then drove off. The camera didn’t catch any of it. I returned it.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having some issues with the motion detection on your Blink camera. You may want to try adjusting the sensitivity on the camera within the camera settings in the APP, which sometimes does take some guess and check depending on where the cameras are placed. You may also want to try adjusting the angle of the camera as well noting the best motion detection occurs when a subject walks across the field of view from one side to another rather than directly toward or away from the camera. If you do however continue to have issues with this camera please reach out to our Tech Support Team directly to troubleshoot.

Good camera system

It's esstenially a doorbell camera sans doorbell. There's a small delay when using the 2 way audio, and the time from when something triggers the notification and you actually receiving the notification is about 4-5 seconds.

Good value but an old “cold country” limit

Installation and setup was as easy as the advertising touts. We live where the temperature routinely drops below freezing (even below 0 F, too). When the camera cools below 40 F a message is generated by each device indicating it may be ineffective. Likewise, a message is generated when the device warms. It seems odd, and is not discussed anywhere. I would suggest another security solution for cold climates.
