Love that you can view and speak. However, there is a delay trying to view the live. Having better luck with these cameras than last brand I had. Comes with lots of storage space in case you have high activity. Don’t know about the batteries lasting 2 years since I haven’t had it that long but it gives you warning about over use of battery use. Best part is that there is no subscription service.

I originally purchased an Arlo system, which I am still pretty happy about. I purchases these cameras to work with my new Alexa system and found them to be better than Arlo. Very easy to set up and put into operation. Takes standard batteries making them more efficient than Arlo. I like that I can bring up the video on my Echo Show without the need for my phone. Definitely worth the investment and Peace of Mind.

Pretty good results from the cameras. However, keep in mind that when they say the batteries last for up to two and a half years, that is for ideal conditions with very little traffic of any kind. These cameras will record anything that moves. Very windy conditions don’t help either. After two weeks, I have already replaced batteries and that is with the sensitivity turned down half (4-5).

We purchased this system with one intent-to catch something on camera on our property. This goal was accomplished by the 3rd day we had it set up. The 5 camera system is the way to go if you want all angles of your immediate property covered. Easy to set up, it took maybe 30 min to install all 5 cameras and another hour to pair with WiFi, name them, and begin using them for surveillance. I would buy them again and have referred others to purchase!!

Happy with the product. It works well, easy to set up but medium hard to modify and get all the settings just right. Its also noticeable when mounted and set up. A light comes on when recording. Would be nice if it was a little less obvious. The day time video is good and nighttime video or low light is medium to poor depending on how you set it up.

I purchased these to replace my very old Arlo, 1st generation. The battery life seems very good, video quality is great, not to crazy about the included mounting hardware but you can but these online that offer much better quality and options. Biggest advantage is the Blink Sync Module, this is very easy to set up and will connect 10 cameras.

I have a an awesome wired POE system at one of my rent homes with 24/7 30 day recording retention. I have always been a little hesitant about using wireless cameras. I bought some Ring wireless outdoor cameras to go with my doorbell and my home (now another rent house), and was somewhat pleased. I have used the following indoor cameras Amcrest, Foscam, Wyze, and Reolink. I like Reolink the most because it can be truly wireless, as long as the battery is charged and not placed in a high traffic area. However, I finally pulled the trigger on the BlinkXT2 5 camera kit, and I am absolutely please with the cameras. There a couple of things that I do not like about them, like they only record to the cloud, and they do not record when watching real time, but I can overlook that for the price, quality, and reliability. So far I am only using 2 outside and the motion detection catches and records everything. I would never use them solely for a security system, but they are doing exactly what I need them to do at the moment. Because they do use lithium AA batteries, I would never put them in a very high traffic area, I do not want to be changing batteries all the time, I would put them outdoors in those areas of less traffic that you would like to get alerts and recordings on like the side of the house or cover all 4 corners of the backyard area. I have mine facing the front, and am curious how long the batteries will last, we are in a cul de sac, so there is not a whole lot of traffic. I've had them up for 10 days and I am at 78% cloud usage, so perhaps I am getting more traffic than I thought. I have also increased the recording to 10 sec instead of 5 sec per recording. There are a lot more features and settings that I could discuss, but I would be here forever typing. Over all 2 thumbs up!!

We installed three cameras, and so far are pleased with them. They were easy to install and the picture and sound are clear. The sensitivity adjustment came in handy at the location where our dog comes and goes onto the porch. Set on high, even the tip of her tail would set it off. We were able to adjust it so that doesn't happen anymore, but if something larger comes on the porch it will set it off. Highly recommend!

We have been using these cameras for over half of a month and they work amazingly. The video is crisp and the night vision works really well. These are much cheaper than the other video surveillance systems. Even at regular price I would have purchased these, but we got them heavily discounted on Black Friday. The mounting is really easy as well so there would be no worries about mounting them to siding or wood. Use other screws for different surfaces.

Easy to set up using the QR codes on the sync module and cameras. Easy to install the cameras using just a drill and screwdriver. Motion detection doesn't work well when the subject is moving directly toward or away from the camera - this is pointed out in the installation guide - so the cameras should be installed to watch areas where motion will cross the camera.

The video quality on these is top notch and i do like the night vision and the ability to speak through the camera. The only issue is the cameras use their own connection terminal before connecting to the wifi which is kind of slow and causes a bit of delay between whats going on in real life and the camera. Still peace of mind and no subscription to cloud save my recordings is an ok compromise.

According to Blink Tech Support, this system must be connected to a 2.4 Ghz WIFI. If you aren't sure you can do this, don't buy this product. On the plus side, the cameras are easy to mount and the system booted up with no problems. Also, Blink Tech support is very responsive to email requests. I've had problems getting the system to function properly. I first set the cameras to run for 60 seconds after motion is detected, but they often ran for just a few seconds. Blink Tech support advised that they had to be on a 2.4 Ghz WIFI connection. I was able to change from the original 5 Ghz band, and it did seem to help some. But they still often quit recording after a few seconds. The connection between camera and sync module seems to have a very limited range, and that might be the problem.

I love this security-system! You can disable 1 camera while using the others. I can move the 2 I have inside my apartment from room to room (to keep an eye on the grandkids) and I can place them where needed when I know maintenance is coming in. I love watching my packages being delivered when I'm across town at work and that the camera records all movements. This was a great buy. I'm thinking of buying a couple more cams (you can have up to 10).

I purchased these for home safety and I am not disappointed! Pretty easy set up and works with my phone. I get notifications when there is movement which is great! the only down fall is that over time the cameras will need to be recharged/batteries replaced but I believe that that comes with all cameras. Overall great purchase and amazing costumer service thank you Best Buy !!
