OK for the money, but limited range & unreliable

System requires that both the cameras and the synch module be pretty close (too close) to your wifi hub. Often fails to display stills or live views with no explanation - just, "Live View Failed" message. System occasionally locks up & requires a re-boot for no apparent reason.

Blink Camera stops working after a few months.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These cameras went up without any problem, only a few hiccups and having to buy a wi-fi extender for the sync module to reach the cameras in our yard. I made sure the sensitivity was not too high and had to replace the new batteries within the first month, and now the lithium batteries only last two - maybe three weeks tops. Now we have replaced the batteries, plugged each camera into the charger and they still read as being offline. We have contact blink customer support and they said they accessed our account and the cameras are faulty and should be returned. We will be exchanging these for possible the nest or ring cameras.
