    I bought it but no happy with it, day’s recording is great and clear but nights, person or animals need to be so close to know what are you looking at

    Camera slow to pick up motions, captures leave important parts out due to this. Live views are slow to come up. On top of this, 2 of the cameras failed with about 1 year of use. Outdoor rated camera, but seemed to have failed due to water damage even though both were located under cover and case ensured to be properly closed. Support very slow to respond. I will not recommend this product.

    Nice and compact. Good app... Doesn’t seem to keep the settings you put in for times to record. There is a bright blue light that turns on when it records so that’s not GREAT. But it works.

    I just missed the return window now I’m stuck with them. They are slow to record and only pick up motion about 10-15 feet out. I can’t recommend these.

      Derek, The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions.

      If you are you are having some issues with the motion detection on your Blink cameras. You may want to try adjusting the sensitivity on the cameras within the camera settings in the APP, this does sometimes take some guess and check depending on where the cameras are placed. We would also suggest adjusting the angle of the camera as well if possible, noting the best motion detection occurs when a subject walks across the field of view from one side to another rather than directly toward or away from the camera. Please keep this in mind for optimal motion detection before mounting your camera.     These camera are just ok. Picture quality is not bad but I lost internet and have not been able to get them back up and running. I have spent several hours trying and just gave up.

    So I ordered these online but it did not say it was a returned item, you would not have known to look at the items in the box. I had to take them back and exchange them where I received awesome service at customer service, the replacement cameras are wonderful, I would definitely recommend buying them to family and friends..and the awesome service at Best Buy is a plus!!

    Its good for monitoring activity around your home. It can be a bit laggy since it requires motion to activate. I’m disappointed with the night vision. The night videos are dark.

    When I first bought these I didnt need a plan to save clips. Now you have to pay for that. Dont buy unless you dont mind that.

    Cloud-based and no silver lining

    The fact that the cameras are wireless is in no way offset by their dependence on a cloud service to function at all. If the base unit cannot connect to the internet, it becomes a set of MegaBlocks. It may function seamlessly during extremely short connection outages, but for any length measured in minutes it is 100% useless if your internet goes down. The storage available on their server is nonsense, and is probably the reason that even if a camera is constantly triggered by motion, it can ONLY operate in increments up to 50 seconds and remain dormant for at least 10, which means that if the footage is needed, at least 1/6 of it will just be... missing. The only way that this is circumvented is by rigging up an android device to remotely monitor and spam the 'continue watching' button. This is the final straw in the Amazon "Smart Home" dumpster fire

    You sell me a system with 3 camera's with no information given to me in advance that I cannot possibly view all three cameras from the single node device provided. I was very disappointed to discover this as my need is for multiple camera's and angles for security purposes. So now I cannot do that without purchasing more node devices!! Feel sort of short changed in not being provided the information I needed to make a smart purchase in this regard.

      We do apologize for any misunderstanding as you are not able to currently access the live view from multiple cameras at once through the APP you would have to go to each camera individually to access its live view, this said we do appreciate your feedback and will pass along to our Team for consideration.

    If used in low traffic areas,it’s perfect. I didn’t quite work for what I was using it for. Perfect for home office or for monitoring a baby sitter.

    For optimum use of the camera they want you to set it up as a side view camera, so not quite like the ring doorbell. Probably would not have bought this if i had realized that.

    Hit or miss if they pick anything up and lag REALLY BAD. We are so disappointed with them! Batteries also drain really quick!

    The cameras work great for what most people would want, there just doesn’t seam to be a way to start them earlier it seams to only capture movement after it has already been in the area.

    If you have two camera, you will not be able to see both camera on the iphone screen, one at a time only. which I don't like wish you can see 4 screens at the same time if 4 camera are on.

      We do appreciate your feedback. You are unable to access the live view from multiple cameras at once through the APP at this time, you would have to go to each camera individually to access the live view.

    After only a month use already says needs battery replacement. App is buggy.. and overall disappointed with this purchase.. don’t recommend buying.

      Battery use is affected by such things as Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time, Slow Internet connection speeds, Extreme Temperatures, Extended use of Live View, and Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router.     Cameras make a buzzing noise when viewing. The app works but is awkward looking and not well organized. Although the Blink cameras are cheaper, I prefer the Arlo cameras and app.
