Posted .Hello, the Blink cameras, when armed, record clips based on motion detection only. The Blink cameras do not offer continuous recording though you can leave the system armed for motion detection for any interval of time.

I’ve contacted Blink customer service about 2 problems I am having with the system. I have received an email back that did not help w problem. I am going to reset again this weekend and try once more to boot up to see if it will work. The camera does show the area you set but it is very slow at notifying you on phone. Person would be already in house before alert comes n photo or video appears. In addition to that it works once then not again. Ive kept it armed and tested several times. Iam going to try one more time. Blink should have better set up instruction. The Blink app is not great. Limited and customer service is by email, which can take 24 hours.

good at first

Turned into them not working more than working. Tried new batteries with same issues. I'm returning them.

Posted .Battery use is affected by such things as Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time, Slow Internet connection speeds, Extreme Temperatures, Extended use of Live View, and Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router.

Posted .You are able to change the length of the motion clip recordings to be anywhere from 5 to 60 seconds within the camera settings in the APP. The camera will then continue to capture 5-60 second video clips as long as motion is being detected. There is a delay between consecutive clips (as the camera turns off and back on) which can be set by you in the Blink App to anywhere between 10 to 60 seconds depending on your preference.

Poor picture quality

Useless to me if someone breaks into my car in my driveway and I cannot identify the person because it's a bleary and I wouldn't be able to identify the person to the police. I had to return this back to best buy.

Posted .We are sorry to hear about any issues you may have had, The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions. You are able to adjust the intensity of the IR Illuminator within the camera settings as well as the sensitivity of the motion sensor.

Batteries need to be replaced after ONE MONTH.

I wanna know why the batteries are draining so quickly??? Also, the video is delayed every time.

Not what I expected

Could not get the cameras to connect to the sync module no matter how close to the router it was. Returning today and buying another nest like I should have from the start.

Horrible

Definitely would not recommend even at the discounted price. Only reason I didn’t return it was because I procrastinated in setting it up and was well past the return window.
