I still have this 4 1/2 years ago. Does what it’s supposed to do.

these blink cameras are great, i have had mine now for over a year and the batteries are still full charge. the thing is that don't point towards heave traffic, this will use more batt. power plus it will drive you nuts with thousands of alerts. The picture quality is nice and clear and the sound is great. Just adjust until you get the coverage that you need. I have these blink cameras all around my house, the only thing that i had to do was buy a wifi extender and it's done. very simple to set up and monitor. i love these and am getting ready to get another one for another area. I also have the ring, their good but you can not arm and disarm like you can with the blink.

I’ve been using these for a little over two weeks after moving them in different places I find out it don’t matter where they are it doesn’t cover the whole spot shown. Example I have a camera right in the front of my driveway that I share with my neighbor. I could walk to my car & it recognizes movement and starts recording but my neighbor can get in her passenger door that’s right beside my drivers door & not be seen. A mailman, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, just a person off the st could walk right up in the middle of my driveway & not be seen till they are almost at my door.. I read the reviews & I’ve put the cameras in Multiple spots, played with the settings it doesn’t make a difference. BUT here’s the kicker The cameras can’t pick up what goes on between two cars in the driveway that are close to the camera but will pick up on a guy walking on the sidewalk thats behind the cars WHERE I actually blocked out those spots for movement in the setting

I bought these cameras because my neighbor caught someone walking though our yards in the middle of the night. I have had them up for about a week and the only time I have had it go off was when I was installing them and right in front of them. I was walking around the yard all week and today the Fedex driver walked right up the driveway in front of the camera and it didn't go off. I switched the sensitivity to 9 (so now it tells me my batteries will not be lasting the two years that is mentioned). I walked around the backyard for about 5 minutes and at a 9 isensitivity it only caught me walking back in the house. Not sure what I am doing wrong but this is not what I expected based on the reviews.

Was a good security system, minimal issues but fast fixes

I have it placed in my room so I can watch my pup while I’m off running errands. It’s motion activated so I get tons of alerts when he’s moving around! I love that I can keep an eye on him and check up on him while I’m gone. It’s perfect because it’s wire free so it is very convenient.

Only 30 minutes to set up my system, works great! Very clear and high definition camera.

I've been using the Wyze cam for a while now but I needed something that records more than 12 seconds at a time and with less than 5 minutes retrigger time. So I got the XT2 cam because of how customizable the settings are. You can change how many seconds to record (up to 60), retrigger time (10 seconds min), sensitivity and other things. Recording delay/latency: Good on the XT2 (only few seconds), better on the Wyze. Picture Quality: Decent on the XT2, also better on the Wyze. The Wyze is only $25, so this is unacceptable from a $100 cam. NOTE: I tried the cam wirelessly and wired using a 5 volts 1 amp cord with a wall plug (same performance).

I absolutely love this brand of cameras I own 2 other brands. Blinks are easy to install also the XT2 comes with the cameras and you can talk through them. overall these are just easy to use!!!! I would highly recommend these.

when i first bought these i was excited to know i had indoor cameras monitoring inside my home. they were very easy to install and setup through the app. but then within a matter of days i was getting notifications from the app of someone turning on the cameras when it wasn't me (i would turn them off when i'm home and then they would turn on while i'm home). when i asked the only other people who had access to the app and cameras they said it wasn't them either (they didn't even know how to use the app anyway). at this point i knew someone was remotely turning on my cameras unauthorized and i quickly stopped using the cameras but still left them running for a few days just to confirm again. sure enough it happened again only this time whoever turned them on found the camera feed to be showing pitch black as the cameras was face down in order to now show anything inside my home. a few days later i went back to Best Buy and got my full refund and that was the end of my worries. stay away from these unless you want someone unauthorized spying on you and your home. my recommendation is to try out the Arlo Cameras (though i would be worried about it happening again with those aswell) or to use cameras from whoever your Home Monitoring Company is (in my case i have Alarm.com) as your home monitoring company will make sure to keep their cameras and monitoring secured from unauthorized intruders. you get what you pay for as this is a perfect example of what no monthly fees gives you.

Does what its supposed to but a rechargeable battery would of been better and overall the app UI is not as good as Arlo’s

Cameras and set up through app is easy . Why I didn't rate this product higher is the cheap mounting system for outdoors . Since Blink tech support just blew me off. Best Buy should offer a more rugged mounts that will protect camera from stray squirrels and birds , along with people just reaching up and taking cameras. sure you have a pic of perp , but why spend another 80.00 plus for new camera.

These are my best cameras around my house. They capture everything in the late as well in the dark

I brought this product and came home and install it my self.. a really easy app comes with it. I highly recommend this product.

This set is great! It has great lighting at night. Easy install.

The night vision on these cameras is not good. Also, the motion detectors doesn’t always work.. which defeats the whole purpose of the cameras. If someone is breaking in or doing something it doesn’t always alert you of motion. Also, the live feed is so delayed by the time you get the live feed up the person would most likely be gone and the talk button is also super delayed. Overall these camera were not what we were looking for and I am disappointed in them.

I love the cameras. They work better than paying a company for surveillance

First off the live streaming is terrible but the picture quality is good. I hate that I hear some one pulling up I'm trying to look at the live stream and its telling me can will motion recording which takes forever a huge delay. Terrible very disappointing

2 cameras were pointed in the direction of a prowler that was seen by my granddaughter and her friend last night. Neither camera captured the prowler. Clips can be 10 - 60 seconds (preset by user). Then there will be a gap of 10 - 60 seconds (also preset by user). If something critical happens during the gap, sorry - you are out of luck. It won't get recorded. The picture is good with any camera during the day. The picture is also good at the front door at night. But I have not found any way to get a good picture of the driveway area at night. The infrared should be lighting the area, but it does not seem to do so.
