good cameras for the price

The motion detecting is very weak and unless an animal is within 15 to 18 feet it will not activate the camera. So I spent more money to get that done. As far as the home security, it is alright for that.

Posted .The Blink cameras have a field of view of 110 degrees - in the daytime, they provide enough visibility to identify an individual’s facial features that is 20ft away, recognize a person that is 32ft away, and beyond that depends on exact lighting conditions. At night, they provide visibility up to 20ft away depending on exact conditions. The range of the motion sensor is up to 15-20ft depending on exact conditions.

Battery life is horrible

Unless there is motion for over 10 seconds it wont record what is happening & only records 60 second clips & it takes another 10 seconds for it to even start recording again. Cant do live video if it is currently recording or trying to save. We keep getting videos of nothing because a car driving by is to face for the camera to capture it! We have adjusted settings, tried different batteries, nothing works! Not worth the money!!!!!

Battery use is affected by such things as Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time, Slow Internet connection speeds, Extreme Temperatures, Extended use of Live View, and Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router.
