Had a hard time setting up for my carport and front door. Both cameras will pick up cars in the distance, but I basically had to walk right up to the camera for it to get me walking in the carport or up the steps. Even had a friend come over to help to see if I was doing something wrong. He and I were both frustrated! Have to have camera perpendicular to foot path, which limits camera angle. Only comes with wood screws, my house is brick, which didn't realize until I went to set up. Will say the microphone on high setting picked up every word I said to my neighbor across the street, that has been the most impressive feature so far.

Needed cameras in a pinch. This is a quick and easy and relatively low cost per feature solution. I personally do not trust Amazon as I found security holes in other products they sell and some of their policies and ways of doing business. The devices themselves work well and are easy to set up. You do want to pay attention to angles, straight on approaching is not well detected by the motion sensors. Having it pick up paths on an angle works better and with the wide angle view coverage is still decent. Video goes to their cloud and The Who knows how long it is stored or whet they do with it. You can disable them record light so since you can, can they remotely? Will need to watch with a network sniffer to www what actually is went and when. But good for now until I put in something more permanent and verifiably secure from abuse from a parent company (will likely build my own system)
