Works, just do not Trust Amazon.

This is a quick and easy and relatively low cost per feature solution. I personally do not trust Amazon as I found security holes in other products they sell and some of their policies and ways of doing business. The devices themselves work well and are easy to set up. You do want to pay attention to angles, straight on approaching is not well detected by the motion sensors. Having it pick up paths on an angle works better and with the wide angle view coverage is still decent. Video goes to their cloud and The Who knows how long it is stored or whet they do with it. You can disable them record light so since you can, can they remotely? Will need to watch with a network sniffer to www what actually is went and when. But good for now until I put in something more permanent and verifiably secure from abuse from a parent company (will likely build my own system)

Camera detection is fast, but I received the record notification in an average of 1-2 minutes. For the price I said that it’s better than nothing.
