I orders the Blink 2 camera system on BB website for pickup. When we got to the store, it was an extremely simple process to pick up. The Blink security cameras are SO simple to install as is the app. We spent more time trying to figure out where to knit the cameras than installing and setting up the system.

If you want a wireless camera JUST check in on things around the house yourself this is the camera set for you. It’s wireless and battery doesn’t need charging monthly and the device itself is compact and waterproof. I like the quality of the compact design and it’s waterproof. With that said, if you want a camera for security it’s best to avoid this product. I didn’t listen to the reviews because sometimes they are not always accurate on the many previous products I’ve purchased. Not here. Motion detection is pitiful. I won’t give exact details, but it’s just about useless. Detection is sporadic and delayed at best, just like the countless reviews claim. These will definitely NOT replace a more serious wireless camera product that detect the slightest motion such as small flying insects that pass by, like with an Arlo. Spend a few more dollars and get a much better product. Just my opinion based on my recent experience. I am stuck with my purchase, as I delayed testing the system, but they definitely will not be used to secure anything. Amazon knew motion detection was an issue with the first generation, based on reviews and feedback, and it’s still NOT fixed in the Blink XT2 second generation. Amazon feel free to contact me for a late return directly to manufacturer. Tech support can‘t fix this issue; I’ve read the review responses from Amazon (“Approach from the side.” That’s like Apple saying we’re holding the phone wrong when they had antenna signal issues). It’s definitely an issue with an inferior motion detection system being utilized by Amazon Blink.

The cameras are very sensitive. It picks up our dogs easily which makes them ding a lot. . The delay between alert and clicking in to live is a little slow. Overall it is serving our purpose and the price is reasonable. Satisfied for what what we were getting it for.

Wasn't sure how well it would work but bought them based on past reviews. Want easy anywhere installation so the cameras have to be battery operated. The resolution was better than expected and motion detection was good (notified when it detected an animal walking by). So far so good.

Easy setup and works great. 3 cameras around the house.
