This is great camera to be used for as a game camera not live footage surveillance camera to have at your house this is more like a temporary camera.

Tried installing a 5 camera system. Already have a 3 nest cameras, two Nest Thermostat and Hello Door Bell. The sync module would not get connected. Contacted support for 3 days without any luck. Best Buy Geek Squad referred to Blink Tech Support. Very frustrating but returning this back. Wish Tech Support was better. Reading through online forums lots of people are having the same issues with their Sync module and not getting much assistance from support either.

They felt very cheap and I went back to Arlo. The price of batteries would be very expensive as well.

This product is nothing but trouble when it comes to getting it up and running. I do not recommend doing this alone. Total frustration here.

Terrible service for the price!! For starters, the batteries didn't even last a month AND THEY ARE NON RECHARGEABLE! The picture quality if set to "best" is decent with the right lighting. Otherwise one wrong overcast and bye bye view... The audio is absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. There's way too many failures to capture motion and live view... I gave it 30 days and I'm returning it. Dont waste your time or your money with blink!

Takes forever just to see someone constantly freezes and records when ever it feels like it.Do Not Buy

I returned it after comparing it to what I need. This product is not for someone who lives in an apartment with a small patio.

Poor WiFi connectivity limits use. I have excellent WiFi signal on other devices much further away from router.

Does not work with 5g, wish I would of knew that before I purchased it. Now with working from home it should would be nice to have.

I picked up the XT2 2-Camera package and think the cams do a great job but notifications are not real-time Since you don't see anything real-time, I'm not sure what purpose the 2-way communications would be used for unless you are actively/manually seeing the video realtime. I just don't see people spending their day viewing the video on their cam so again, not sure what purpose that will serve unless it's part of some future update where real-time might come into play. Speaking of real-time, I think that is Blink's shortfall. You can't help in stopping someone from breaking into your home, because you don't know that anyone attempted to until after the video stop recording. That being said, however, the units work as advertised, and they do it very well. The video picture is very clear, and for what they do, the price point seems to be spot on, I think that these in combination with a real-time doorbell cam might be a good option for some folks, at least until Blink brings things to a real-time notification. so, while I think these are good to have, you have to remember you don't see anything until after the fact. So if you get these, consider also investing in one of those doorbell cams that can be real-time. Installation is a breeze. Literally. It's as simple as downloading the app and getting the base unit working by following instructions on your phone or tablet, then linking the unit(s) to the base by following instructions, and finally mounting the item to where you want it. I spent more time mounting and adjusting the angle to the cam to where I wanted it than the time it took to set everything up via my phone with the base unit and linkages. So, super simple to set up. Since I just got these, I don't know how battery life will be. I doubt they will last 2 years as mentioned but I do like the fact that there is no hard-wiring, no solar panel set-up, and if the battery is drained I go without usage for 10 hours because of charging time. My camera downtime will be a couple of minutes because it will literally be swapping a couple of AA Lithium-ion batteries and during the time I swap them out, I'll be standing right there. All in all, it's a good product if you can deal with it not being real-time. I give it 4 stars simply because of the lack of real-time notification. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars. I recommend them.

Battery died in 2 weeks and the replacements just about died today.

Sadly does not stand up to weather have 2 outside and one inside the one inside is the only one with clear picture that constantly works

Get knocked off line all the time. Or just can’t get live coverage. Battery life is short.

I have seen this security system work well at friend's home, but it failed to work well at my home, so the units were return to the store. The store was very good to work with in returning the units even though the package had been open and the camera were mounted. Our dissatisfaction was that the units did not work, one camera was responsive to motion and the other had no picture at all.

Blink Camara not that great, kept buffering or waiting for wifi signal and there not to far away apart from my router. Video delay and motion sensor delay by 10 to 15 second I don't like that should be a little quicker on that part. Picture quality is not bad and free storage space is great did like this option. But for a starter for now will help u but I rather invest my money on something much better.

Went with a wired security system instead. Is alright for use of out front of your house. Just not enough options for what I wanted.

Worst security system ever! Worst support system! I bought this months ago, it worked one-day and now nothing. The sync module went offline and only shows solid blue. I have deleted the sync on the module and camera and started all over! Same thing! Big, big, big waste of money! Now it has breached the return period.

We actually returned these right away. The camera quality was grainy and not good inside or outside for night vision.

Once camera dies and you recharge it will not reconnect to the hub .
