Junk!

Took it to office and couldn't get the green light to come on the sync module. Logged out. Logged in. Set and reset. Tried different power sources. Deleted system and reinstalled. Have already wasted an hour of my life trying to solve the problem. What a headache. Think a simple wired camera will work just fine. Who needs to a device that needs tinkering out of the box.

Posted .DrDan, To move your system to a new location or Wi-Fi network, you would need to reconfigure the Sync Module for its new network. Theres better for a batter price

Posted .louikyed, Battery use is affected by such things as Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time, Slow Internet connection speeds, Extreme Temperatures, Extended use of Live View, and Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router. Do note, The USB port on the back of the camera can be used with a Micro USB cable and power adapter (not included with your camera) to power your cameras rather than using batteries. If you have been using your Blink cameras within the standard operating range I would suggest reaching out to our Tech Support Team directly to troubleshoot. support.blinkforhome.com

Didnt work like it's supposed to

Worthless cameras and of course I am outside of my return period. Very, very disappointed

Bad system, window to short to return

Youd think they have a longer return time on such an item. Really just wanted store credit to buy their better systems like eufy or maybe ring, but ill be getting my systems from costco or homedepot

App sucks! Only 1 viewer allowed

Also only one account so can’t view on 2 different devices unless on the same account and then only 1 person can view on app at a time. Does not continuously run live video. Only live video for few seconds then you view to decide to discard or save. Only records of movement. Not for surveillance. Also delays by 3-5 seconds. Not worth it!

Posted .You can only have one username/email address and password per account however, you can download our app to as many compatible iOS, Android and Amazon Fire devices as you’d like, so the entire household can receive alerts or check in at home. When launching the app on additional devices, please use the sign in option to access the account you created on your first Blink connected mobile device. You will not have to go through the setup process again. Please note you will not be able to use Live View from multiple devices at the same time.
With Live View on the Blink XT2 camera, you can record up to 5 minutes at a time. After that, you’ll have to initiate a new Live View session.
The Blink cameras do not offer continuous recording, though you can leave the system armed for motion detection for any interval of time.
Many times delays have to do with the strength of your internet/wifi if you continue to have any issues with this we would suggest reaching out to our Tech Support Team directly to troubleshoot, support.blinkforhome.com

Poor Performance

I have talked to Blink follwed their instructions and stll have issues. Thet will catch dogs and bugs but a person can walk right up the driveway and never trigger the camera. Taking them down and installing a different system. Was please at first but would not advise them to anyone.

Worthless

That would require a short video. Its ridiculous, any excuse to not fix my cameras.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that the Blink System is not going to work for your situation however we do appreciate your feedback. There is not a way at this time to purchase additional storage. The Blink XT2 will allow you to access Live View while the camera is recording. This will transition into recorded Live View event. With Live View on the XT2 camera, you can record up to 5 minutes at a time. After that, you’ll have to initiate a new Live View session.

Cheap junk

Latency isn't even a word for these cameras. You could walk 1/2 mile to see what's going on by the time the camera's show a view in the app. It requires lithium batteries. (Non rechargeable) For the price you pay, they should come with Litium-ion (rechargeable). I guess there's a reason Arlo has such great ratings.

Worst camera ever

They probably only had one camera and it’s Blink. The overall build quality is terrible. The video and audio quality is bad as well. I don’t understand how they can sell these for $100 Try it. Then try Ring. If you want free recordings nothing is better than Eufy 2C or Eufy 2.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

Second, there is a 5-10 second delay in the live video, and this is after the 10-20 second delay in the initial connection to view the live video. And third, about half the time you go to view live video, there is a system error so you have to exit and retry. Total disappointment.
