Using as an outdoor camera. The batteries die out in a couple months if the camera is always on. It is recommended to let the camera record only when you are not at home which does not serve the purpose of having a camera for security reasons. I had to purchase a usb cable for powering it to avoid changing batteries every two months.

Heard about this from a family member and was very impressed and was very glad we purchased this blink for a bit of security while at night and able to see who’s at door before answering it very easy to turn on and off and set up also easy to adjust settings on camera so battery won’t wear as fast but being no service charge to operate who cares about buying more batteries we’ll wo the peace of mind also like that you get notified even when not home and can even talk to whoever is there while your away definitely recommend,,,,!

Wire less, works on two double a batteries. Batteries suppose to last two, only had for a few weeks. Very easy to set up.

Its a great system for the money. Im not sure how well the range works but they do just fine at close range. Video quality is good and they pick up motion well and record for up to 60 sec clips during each event .Notifications are instant during an event. Plenty of options to customize how you like. Battery life had been good so far and they get used alot. One thing i like about these is the size and they dont look like typical cameras so easy to hide if that what you need. Overall they are a very good buy.

Let's say you have a dog then this thing will be going off all day since it's ran with batteries, there not cheap but it's still just double A. If you had a shed or a barn or somthin that doesn't see much action then maybe. Nights vision is OK but if it's on then you can tell it's recording.. Makes a shutter sound red blinking light plus a blue one.. There OK little pricy

Home security without monthly fees from private home security companies. I have set up each camera to watch a door in my home. If an intruder comes in, Blink app will send an alert to your smartphone. Good cheaper system without monthly expenses. U need to be vigilant and check for the Blink apps for any possible alerts. Smartphone and the Blink app together can make your home more secure. Not the best but a great alternative to monthly fees.

They work great on watching my front yard and use them to keep an eye on kittens when I was gone Works alot better in daytime

You can use this anywhere in or around the house, indoors or outdoors for it's being battery operated. It takes only several seconds of video though but that's enough for me. Takes nice videos of guys and gals in the delivery or postal service when installed in the front porch area. It takes miniclips of the birds and the bees and anything living that moves. Blink XT2 (wireless) for outdoor surveillance and Wyze cams (wired) for indoor use. A perfect combination for a video security solution!

Pros: Great product with a very clear night vision camera. Great for low traffic areas. Cons: Battery life is not great. I have to take them down to change the Battery too often for high traffic areas. Get something hard wired for 24 hr. Surveillance.
