Install was very easy. The cameras are powered by two double a batteries. The videos are sent to the blink app on your smartphone or tablet. Video is very clear and the night vision works great.

Since I passed my 15 days return period I can not return anymore. Picture/video quality is very great. Night vision on good as well but main is motion detection which sucks. Even setting as early detection it does not detect motion quick enough. I had set 1 camera near my home entry way and until that person is not close to camera it does not detect. If I set motion sensitivity higher then it gives too many falls alarm but still it takes time to detect motion. Some times looking at recorded video I barely see the person as he is almost gone by the time it starts recording. Going to live view also takes time when you click on it. Nothing is instant. We have other cameras at my other property bought from Sam's and we never had any of this issues that I am facing with blinks. Blink were on sale so decided to go with little cheaper option but like they say you get what you pay for so I paid less and got crap. Should have paid more and went with the other cameras that I knew works great.

We bought the Blink XT2 security camera system as well as the Arlo security camera system and we ended up taking the Arlo system back. The Blink XT2 has a better 1080p video quality for both day and night vision use. The 2 way audio actually works on the Blink XT2 cameras and program. The best part is the BLINK XT2 program app is extremely user friendly. I had a second Blink module because I purchased a 2nd 3 camera Blink XT2 system and I had to call customer service to get technical support for adding it to the existing system/account and the technician was able to walk me right through the process with ease. I highly recommend this wireless security camera system.

Easy setup ..it’s features are very good you can adjust a lot of things..great vid and pics it does night vision is good ..I’m still using the first set of batteries..

These cameras are very easy to set up. Great night vision as well. I have a different brand that I used for something else, but I like these better and they were cheaper.

I bought this for a school campus. It had issues connecting cameras to the sync module that even Blink tech support could not guide me through. They had to remotely update the sync module firmware to even allow me to access it, and then it took over a dozen attempts (that each failed) to add cameras, until finally, it worked. Now that it's working and the cameras are installed, it's great. Super clear picture and audio, easy app to monitor alerts. So if you're willing to potentially go through a finnicky setup process, I recommend the system.

The Blink XT2 camera is a great camera. I was skeptical at first but this system has proved me wrong. If you want a wireless, motion-activated security camera to monitor your home or office, then this is the system to get. No, it is not perfect. Yes, there are a few things that could make it better but it's no big deal. It lags a little when viewing/loading but overall the camera serves its purpose. I wish I would have purchased the set of 5 from the beginning but I was somewhat hesitant about making the investment in a product that was new to me. Lucky for me, Blink does give you the option to add on cameras if needed.

Gave it to my husband for a gift. It was easy to set up and the cameras both work. They do notify you on your phone and you can see pretty clearly what's going on. The mic works, you can speak to whoever is in front of the camera. Haven't installed it properly yet. Still just playing with it. Seems like someone would steal it if they could easily reach it so we are still planning where exactly to install it. If you use it indoors there's no problem at all unless you want to conceal it. You don't have to buy anything if you don't want to, like a service.

I got the 3 pack and found setup and install a breeze. The mounting bracket leaves a lot to be desired. They're clunky and don't allow much movement to find the best angle. As far as performance goes, they don't seem like they're 1080P quality although the picture is quite good. Also I feel that by the time they react and record I don't get notice of the activity until at least 15 to 30 seconds later. This doesn't really allow much monitoring in real time. Other times I feel that they aren't sensitive enough and miss half of the action.

Cameras great, sound on the cameras are epic, night vision is excellent, only downfall is anything over sensitivity 5 the camera goes off constantly. It's a must buy.

I was very hesitant to buy security cameras. They seemed like very sophisticated technology. More than I could handle. Nevertheless, I talked to the sales people at Best Buy about them. My needs ... wireless, simple to set up and use, no monthly fee. I was led to BLINK. I bought a package of 2 outdoor cameras. Came home, and read the simple instructions. Voila! I now have security in both the front and back of my house. I have had a couple of problems and questions. All have been easily rectified by communicating with the BLINK techs. They are so easy to talk to! Bottom line. I love my BLINK cameras! Feel very secure!

Great small cameras with exceptional images and video. Even with slow Wi-Fi and upload speeds, they work. Extremely easy to start up and put them up where you want them. Takes a few days to get the sensitivity level correct depending on what you are trying to pick up. Microphone and speakers work great and are loud enough. I get a 3 second or so delay message to my phone upon being activated. Open up the saved video and see what set it off. Click on live to bring the live feed up to see what else is happening. Hit the talk button and talk to whoever is in the area. Very impressive for the cost.

I got this for my parents house as an added measure of security. The great thing is you can access the footage from an app remotely, get alerts, etc. - but you must have it hooked up to the internet. For the price it's very affordable. Though being battery powered made setup very easy, the biggest con is in areas of high traffic (the door into the house) the battery drains much faster and has to be replaced every few months. I would look for an alternative security camera system that doesn't rely on batteries for power.

Overall very pleased with these security cameras. Able to customize many features and they have a good, clear picture. Easy to set-up as well, and I like that you can add cameras as desired. The only thing I don't like is how they attach to the mount. Doesn't feel sturdy enough, but now that they are mounted, shouldn't be an issue until I change batteries. Bought a charging cable for one of them and I would recommend you do the same if you're able to plug it in as opposed to running on battery.

This was my first security camera purchase and I was a little surprised at the ease in setting the camera up and its versatility. I've never been big on reading instructions, so I was pleased to find the advanced settings inside the app itself to adjust various features of the camera. Other that the motion feature being a little sensitive, I have no complaints, but even that seems to be getting better the longer the camera is in place.

Installed 4 of these cameras to monitor the outside of our home. Installation was fairly simple. Video quality is excellant during daylight hours. And very good at night. Battery life will not last 2 years unless you have very minimal use. However, I got 7 months on the first cameras with moderste to high use. Response time is very fast, with alerts to user almost instantly. Sensitivity and video length are adjustable. Storage on cloud is free... Nice product, decent customer support, reasonable price. Well worth the investment for home security.

The Blink is working great! I use it in my fathers room in a nursing home. I'm able to look in whenever I want or get notices when someone enters the room or is in the room doing something. This has been great since we have limited access with COVID. And once we're not allowed in again because of the COVID cases, we'll still have the ability to see in his room. It does provide a way to keep certain areas of the room from picking up movement (such as where the door is. If there is movement outside the room, you don't need that triggering the video). You can also adjust the sensitivity of the camera as it relates to movement. Small movements or slow movements will not likely get picked up. Speaker volume - When speaking through the device, it's not super loud in the room, especially when a TV is on, it will be hard for the person in the room to hear. So not a great device to communicate to an elderly person through if there is noise or that person has some hearing loss. Mounting - I added anchors in the wall when I drilled the screws in to make sure the holes don't become too loose. Visibility - The lens allows for a good wide view. The picture quality is pretty impressive and you can zoom in to some extent. As you zoom in, the picture will have a lower quality, but I think you can adjust this in the settings if needed. Just know that the higher the quality, longer the length of the video, more motion, etc. will use more battery. We get about 5-6 days of videos because of the frequency of the recordings. The recordings can be emailed/shared if needed to be saved externally, but I have not seen where you can save a video permanently. The videos will roll off the recordings as space is needed. I'd recommend checking out a couple 'how to' videos for the setup process. It does have to connect to WiFi, so make sure you have access to that. You will also have to plug the 'router' into the wall. This is the device (separate, but included with the Blink) that links to the WiFi. It will then talk to your wireless camera. If WiFi goes down, so does the camera! Setup can be done right from your phone/device. From what I've seen, you can only access the Blink through an app on a device. I am not able to use it on my PC. So I can't make a phone call to my father on my phone and watch the video on my phone at the same time. That would be a nice improvement.

Best purchase I have ever made. These were bought to help keep an eye on my elderly father in law while we are at work and he is at home. He happened to fall the third day after these were installed and we were able to talk with him and because we knew he had fallen we got someone to him right away. They for sure paid for themselves in less than a week. Excellent picture and sound quality. Easy to install and setup. Would recommend these to anyone. We also have 2 of the cameras mounted at outside doors and they also work fantastically. Well worth what we paid for them.
