My camera did not have good signal strength outside. When it was placed inside less than 10 feet from the outside location it worked fine but not outside. I got an Arlo setup that worked much better but the batteries only lasted about 4 days. I needed to hard wire power to this to get it to work satisfactorly.

I elected to go with completely wireless cameras. I made a mistake with this decision. The cameras are able to detect a person walking across their path at a distance of 12' roughly 60% of the time. It appears the sweet spot is 8' in front of the camera. I need a much greater range available. The compounding issue I have is with the timing of saved clips. Even when the camera does detect a person, I have received countless clips of a foot exiting the frame. This means a person walked roughly 12 steps in view of the camera, and by the time the recording started, I am able to see a bit of a shoe. Between the three cameras, I am taking pictures of roughly a dozen wasps per day. Then the Blink app scolds me for keeping the cameras too busy, and warns that my battery life will be impacted. Adding it all up, I should have gone with a more sophisticated system.

Great for a wireless setup. Had for 4 months and batteries are still good. Armed all day and alert when motion is detected. Even picks up a cat walking through the driveway at 2AM. If your looking for continuous recording, go with a wired system. If you want to be alerted when someone is in the cameras motion area, these are great. You can download and save video and the main module has good range.

Cameras are great, they serve its purpose. Very clear and easy to install.
