Simple to install outdoor camera!

Most of the time was spent in creating the blink account and pairing the camera with my account. The video quality is as best as can be expected from a HD camera. The Blink app is very intuitive and easy to use. The battery life remains to be see. The box guarantees "up to" 2 yr battery life, but with Colorado's weather that remains to be seen. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Posted .The Blink cameras cannot be used to face out a window. Blink’s PIR sensor cannot detect motion through glass, so a Blink indoor or Blink XT/XT2 camera positioned behind a window will not create clips when armed. However, it can be faced out a window, or through glass, for use with Live View.

Pretty good for basic use

They work pretty well but the two on the edge of the garage sometimes have a hard time connecting as they are farthest away. I may have to upgrade the wifi extender and it will improve. I gave them 4 stars cuz for the money (less then 300 on sale) its a pretty decent value. Our home is 4400 sq feet for your reference

Quick and Easy Solution for Motion Detection

I can easily move them around and provide motion detection where I need it. The cloud storage is free but the drawback is it is very limited. If you simply need quick 10 second videos of what is going on around the house - this is the product for you! It does have live view capability and the ability to communicate through a speaker/microphone through the cameras.
