Mostly works, but sometimes takes weeks

My son visited the house while I had all cameras armed to detect motion. He was detected a couple times, but I was puzzled why so few detections. Two weeks later, the other detection notifications finally arrived on my phone, about ten of them. They were dated correctly, just very late. Does not give me confidence in the timely notification process. Also, outdoor cameras lack exposure dynamic range. When back yard is sunny, all grass appears as one single color, making yard look flooded. Had to call neighbor to check on this false alarm. Agree high resolution, but no color range.
