Not what I expected on battery life

Needs battery life extended, talked to Blink and asked if I could use rechargeable battries and I was told that is was not a good idea, and to use lithium metal batteries

Posted .Battery use is affected by such things as Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time, Slow Internet connection speeds, Extreme Temperatures, Extended use of Live View, and Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router. The batteries that are shipped with the Blink cameras are not rechargeable and we do not recommend using rechargeable batteries as they may cause issues with the cameras. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent.

Not bad for a battery operated camera

Maybe because it’s behind a patio cover beam? I do agree with other reviewers that you need to buy another brand of camera mounts for a more secure fit.

Great IP

The combination of battery life, ease of use, and NO MONTHLY FEE (!) makes this much better than an Arlo, Nest, or Amazin IP camera.
