Customers love the XT2 1-Camera Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 1080p Surveillance System's excellent camera quality, ease of use, and straightforward installation. Many also appreciate the system's price point and effective night vision capabilities. However, some users have noted that the battery life could be improved, and the motion detection may need refinement. Concerns have also been raised regarding the live view functionality and sensitivity settings.

The lithiun batteries in one of the cameras died after 3 weeks of use. i check the videos once a day and I only use live view a few times a week for less to 20 seconds each time.

Battery use is affected by such things as Placing cameras in high traffic areas and leaving them armed all the time, Slow Internet connection speeds, Extreme Temperatures, Extended use of Live View, and Weak Camera signal strength between sync module and WIFI router. If you have been using your Blink cameras within the standard operating range I would suggest reaching out to our Tech Support Team directly to troubleshoot.

With all of the mail and package thefts going on, these were the best thing to help. They work great, haven't had any problems with them at all. Replaced "Ring" product for these and like these a lot better. A lot less "lag" time with these.

Batteries die quickly and sometimes it doesn’t record some movements but overall I like them. I like that I can connect live with them and also talk to people if someone is there

If you are having some issues with the motion detection you may want to try adjusting the sensitivity on the cameras as well as the angle if possible, noting best motion detection occurs when a subject walks across the field of view from one side to another rather than directly toward or away from the camera. If you continue to have any issues, please reach out to our Tech Support Team directly to troubleshoot.

The third camera in the set has been nothing but trouble. After purchasing an internet extender on the recommendation of the installation tech, I still have not gotten full functionality out of the third camera. It works perfectly when its in the house but as soon as my husband places it back in place outside, it will not capture live streams or photos. The other two work great. The picture and audio quality is top-notch. I plan to purchase additional add-on cameras.

Based on reviews, I thought I purchashed a good system : 1 base plus 5 cameras. However, the signal doesnt seem to go through multiple walls and partitions in the house, so if the base was in the living room, the cameras in the back would drop the signal. I do use wifi signal boosters throughout the house but it didnt help with this sytem. It looks like Id need 1 base per 1 camera if I wanted to put them around all 4 sides of the house as planned. Also this system doesnt have live feed at all times, which is something that I was really looking for. So unfortunately, I had to return this set.

I was mostly interested in these cameras due to the lower entry cost than other systems and the wireless features. I am leaving only 3 stars because they leave a lot to be desired, and do not actually do what they claim the Blink system is capable of doing. Specifically, Amazon, the parent company claims these cameras can be used to screen and/or communicate in real time with people in camera view as is true with most of the Ring systems. This is entirely false. I use one camera at my front door mostly to see who is knocking, or to catch package thieves, ding-dong-ditch kids and those types of things that were happening. The problem is that there is a ridiculous conflict because when I try to use that feature it won't switch from recording to live view, it always says camera is busy and I cant use the "live view" and talk feature at all. Relating to that issue is the delay in the system that has serious lag, or weak motion detection. They openly admit the system is weak at detecting motion coming directly towards the camera, and they say to orientate the cameras so as to catch motion that passes from one side to another in front of the camera. They do have a motion sensitivity slider, activity zone adjustment, and early detection switch, but as hard as i try to get the combo of these settings to work together. If I set them to be extra sensitive and early motion it catches everything, shadows from clouds, landscape moving in the wind, yellow jackets, birds, squirrels but I still get only a blur of a human approaching from side to side in camera range as they come up on my porch then leaves quickly (as theives do) They are one of the classic you get what you pay for deals, so just drop the cash for a Ring doorbell or a real security camera system, or be a cheapskate and put up with half decent security that may or may not work when they are actually needed.

We are having a ball watching what critters are roaming our yard during the night! But on a more serious note, it's great to be able to peek outside if I hear a noise without having to get up to look out the window. Love the secure feeling.

Considering all the competition and the sale price, these cameras were a great choice. Easy to install, activate and operate. Free cloud storage plus the live view featuring 2-way communication is a bonus.

This is my second time buying this product. Doesn't record every second. But does record when there is motion. I have these set up at my house and another property. Just make sure you have good internet since it requires wifi

Wanted something to keep the occasional eye on the outside of our property and also inside on the dog. This was very simple to set up, and had a good range. Does what I need to watch from the home and the two way communications is very nice.

It goes through batteries far too fast. Sometimes it misses people walking up but it’s super great at shadows and reflections which makes no sense.

We purchased a set of 5 of these cameras for ourselves back in May. We love them and our sons thought they were really cool. Both our sons purchased their first homes since, so they are both getting a set of these cameras for Christmas. They will be thrilled.

Not very sophisticated, but they work for what I wanted. They are quite durable and fit for both indoor and outdoor use. I mounted one to a tree in the front yard. They also have the ability to adjust sensitivity and trigger zones, which is a plus.

Easy install but a weak signal reception limits it to line of sight installation. In other words it cant be used on the opposite side of outbuildings in some blind areas that are primary opportunities for theft.
