They are ok in the better than nothing category. The problem with these are what you pay for them as a customer, it deserves to be a much better product but falls short of not capturing the right timing of the video. Very inconsistent. Blink always invites you to reduce video capturing time to save battery, which makes no sense at all if the camera is to capture security footage. Duh!

I had purchased this for my mother-in-law and they loved it, so we decided to purchase it for our home too. We love the picture and the sound. It is very easy to set up. We love our cameras

Very clear with good sound for both listening and speaking. Adequate night visoin at distance and very good night vision close up. Very happy with purchase. Well worth the price.

I bought this for a Christmas Gift for my boyfriend. He loved it. It was very easy to hook up, it only took about ten minutes. The quality is good as well! I’m pleased with the buy so far.

The ease of installation was great. I did purchase some after-market mounts that gave me a lot more range of motion from where I was mounting them from. My only dislike about this device is that it lags between the clips being recorded and the time that it notifies me on my phone. I have Google Fiber so not sure it is an issue with my internet. Overall it is serving my needs and it is kind of fun to mess with my dogs when I am away. I can press the talk button for the camera I left in my living room and confuse them.

Bought this on recommendation and am not disappointed. Easy to install and set up via iPhone. Quality is very good and images are clear. Will be looking to add more of these over time.

I purchased this model because this model had some good reviews and was one of the few ones that did not require a subscription. It records video clips up to 60 seconds in length at a time, cameras work pretty good inside or out. It picked up a bear and two cubs at 1am in my driveway on the first week, which was cool to see. Very easy to setup with the app, comes with mounts. You have about 25 feet in front of the camera for motion to get picked up. It took me a few days to figure that out based on where I wanted the camera. These cameras are also powered by battery which is another reason I liked it for my needs.

They were easy to install and have great quality videos, just be careful with the settings because we set them on 5 and they pick up all the way out to the middle of the street.

Very handy and easy to install. You can put it anywhere you want. Pictures are clear. It’s motion activated so you get text updates on your cp. It’s great camera for pet owners as well.

The XT2 is basically the XT1 with 1 or two improvements. It comes with a more secure and sturdy mount , but it can be improved further. When it comes to the two way audio, I found it that there is a lot of lag between during Live mode to the point that it it becomes useless. That being said, an internet connection with great upload speeds is highly recommended. One thing to point out is that Live view cannot be accessed while a motion recording is going on; atleast now you can record while in live view. It is also important to note that the maximum amount of time that the camera can record on motion detection is 1 minute before retriggering. Motion detection is greater during the day than at night; the new activity zones does help alot. The camera finds it hard to record motions when the subject walks straight towards the camera. Blink even recommends placing the camera in a location where the subject will walk across the camera rather towards it. Night vision is good only for the first 5 feet from where the camera is; the picture is hard to make out the further out it gets. Finally, the two year battery life is satisfied only if the camera is not constantly recording motions. The camera does have an included usb port in the back that allows for an external power source to be connected such as a power bank or connecting it directly to an outlet; this method allows you to use the batteries as backup.

Great outdoor camera with good picture quality. Only thing is battery drains quick if camera is face by high traffic area like a driveway.
