It feels like a waste of star power. You stick all these top notch actors in Th midle of the jungle after some diamond. It just wasn't appealing to me.

I never seen this movie and got it when it went on sale. I thought it was depressing and I couldn't get into it. Maybe I ould give it another chance tho.

This blu-ray case seems like it could be sold in the Asian blackmarket.

Not for the faint of heart, The heart felt emotion provided by the citizens of small villages gunned down and torn away from their families is captivating. A crippling story of perseverance and the will to do what is right will keep you asking for more. Also exclusively on Bluray there is a documentary featurette based on the real struggle in Sierra Leone that must be seen as well. Next time you buy diamonds make sure you know they are conflict free!

Edward Zwick's second best film, "Blood Diamond" tells the story of one man who hides a diamond and is separated from his family (Djimon Hounsou) and one man who wants to find the diamond (Leonardo DiCaprio). Together, they try to help each other meet their goals -- much like in a working economy, supply and demand are balanced. While not quite as good as "Glory," the film manages to be compelling and among 2006's best dramas. At 143 minutes, the film never feels too long. The DVD's special features are extensive. Fans of the film will want to purchase the 2-disc special edition over the decrepit single disc. Highly recommended.

I heard of this movie and always wondered what conflict diamonds were so I was glad I checked it out. The Blu-ray PQ and AQ are great however the story is real depressing learning how diamonds come from such a war torn country that places little value on it's people. Leonardo Dicaprio does a good job acting in his role and the story is interesting and full of action. Very informative bonus features. Check it out!

this movie was great. leo speaks something ive never heard before but hes still good, good enough to get nominated i guess. the story is scadered all over the place but not to confusing, its mostly a survival story. there is a lot of violence but it looks real and most of the action scenes are well done. like the battle in that town when even the military surebdered to the bad guys. a lot of this movie just shows you how harsh some countries really are and you should respect that, like how rambo was. overall, this was a solid adventure movie.

This movie is a very powerful and interesting movie. IT tells the story of the illegal diamond smuggling in Sierra Lione and has a subplot of the the child soldiers that are prevelant throughout Africa. The acting is very good and the roles are played almost to perfection. THe only problem I have with the movie is there was a love story thrown in at the end of the movie. This angered me only because it makes the movie to similar to many other movies. However, besides that, the movie is great and I definetly recommend it.

After watching this movie I could not believe how dangerous it is for people to find diamonds. People in America find it to be no big deal...we don't even think about where they truely come from! THis was a very emotional movie to watch and recommend EVERYONE should see it!!!!

Great action & a fantastic looking film, Leonardo DiCaprio is great in this film, and the rest of the actors do fantastic aswell. Blood Diamond is an action, political adventure at its best! Check it out!

I was pleased with this movie and was not expecting the suspense of it. Leonardo DiCaprio dispays a stunning performance. This movie captures the greed and desperation of people for wealth. While in retrospect, the disparity of those that are poor on a level that is incomparable to what we could ever imagine.

I really enjoyed blood diamond, even though it did get to be a bit long. Was actually very moving, and it made me think a lot. Great performances from Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou.

This is a great film overall; it has action, drama, romance, and a message. The films message is about diamonds and the genocide that goes on in some countries in Africa, because of the rock. DeCaprio delivers a great and powerful performance and this isn't a movie to miss.

at first i was a little skeptical of buying a leonardo dicaprio movie but it turned out to be an excellent buy. this movie opens your eyes to ways of life that you never had to see before, or at least with your own eyes and its a life not too many have to live

Gret movie, acting and action in this movie. Lots of violence here and action. You will not like diamonds after watching this film. Very endearing story. Enjoy!!

This is definitely Leo's best performance. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when walking into the theater, but I was instantly hooked. Ed Zwick has long been one of my favorite directors and he certainly doesn't disappoint here.

Movie has a perfect cast. Very good plot, acting and directing. Really like the insight into a very troubling issue "Blood Diamonds"!!!

Blood Diamond is awesome. It features amazing performances, beautiful cinematography, and a great social commentary.

This is a very good movie. The ending was different than I thought it would be but it ended really well.

It's a very interesting movie. A must watch movie for sure.
