If you're into the Dark Souls serious this is a 100% recommened pick up. It is an extremely hard game, and if you don't like dying over and over and would like an easy relaxing game you probably shouldn't buy this. If you want a skilled based game that is difficult pick this up

Not as hard as Dark Souls, but still a challenge! Nothing hurts more than making a ton of progress only to be killed almost instantly by an ambush or monster you didn't know could ruin you quickly. Great atmosphere, great game though.

If you like the souls series, look no further than this masterpiece of a game. You will die, and die very often in this game... but the end results are worth the hassle. Keep in mind that this is more of an offense before defense type of game, which is thE complete opposite of the souls game.

Bloodborne is dripping with charm and atmosphere occupying a slightly different niche than the usual souls games fare ( dark souls, demons souls). The game is fast, frantic, and becomes quite unsettling the further you progress. Action fans cant afford to miss this amazing game.!

Definitely a lot harder at first than any of the other From Software games, but man it pays off to persevere. Tons of memorable locations, enemies, and the atmosphere is just so creepy. If you own a PS4 and like action RPGs or action games in general, you owe it to yourself to get this game.

Bloodborne is amazingly hard from the creators of demons and dark souls series. BestBuy had this game at $20 price tag weeks before competitors lowered their prices. Great looking game, frustratingly challenging, and a great lowered price is totally worth it. Thank you BestBuy!

Bloodborne is basically Dark Souls only faster. Take that for what you will. There's no blocking, only dodging. Combat is fluid and is a nice change of pace from Dark Souls. With DS3 out however, most fans are better off with the mainline series than retreading to Bloodborne.

So I'm going to tell you how amazing this game is, then I'm going to tell you how you shouldn't break it after you die 50,000 times. That's right, it's GRIND TIME. If you know nothing about the game, are in love with RPG's and have the next 5 months to learn how to not die.... you're in for a treat! I should have started out with a disclaimer *weekend worries beware* I thought I was ready for it knew it was going to be extremely hard, whenever I popped it in and died 50 times before I knew what I gotten myself into, I died 500 more times and tried it again. The story, game play, look and feel of these game is truly amazing. I'm not going to give a spoiler alert review. So buy this one, I promise if you love the grind, and aren't affaird of a challenge... THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

From the same developers of the Demon and Dark Souls games come this awesome action game. A new IP that takes the best of the previous games and makes an even better game. The combat is fast and fluid, the world is incredible and there's a rich and deep story. A definite must have!

This game justifies a PS4 purchase. The game is absolutely beautiful and a great follow up to the Souls Series. I must warn anyone that hasn't played Dark Souls on PS3 that this game is difficult and will test your patience.

    A Darker Souls

I love the Dark Souls games. I see how they may be a bit intimidating to more casual gamers. Sony does right by those people with Bloodborne, which it published alongside the studio that developed Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. This is definitely in the same vein as those games, but the atmosphere is gothic horror instead of medieval. I prefer it. Also, instead of being able to hide behind a shield, you use a gun for counter-attacks. I feel it's a tad easier and more approachable. There's almost always a human online willing to help you past a tough boss. Health potions are abundant (so long as you don't use them all up on the previous life) and it's fairly easy to grind for higher levels. The entire world is a giant map, and you're constantly finding shortcuts and routes back to familiar areas. If there's one knock, it's that the graphics aren't mind-blowing. But they definitely convey the dark vibe well. So put on your patient pants and get bloody!

Bloodborne is awesome! Playing Dark Souls ( the first one) started my dive down the From Software rabbit hole and I had to get it. I'm pleased the Playstation Hits version was $20 and includes all content. The game, like Dark Souls, is hard but so rewarding when I get past a spot or a boss that has had me stuck for a while. This game is actually more prefferred to me than the OG Dark Souls. Love it!

Dark, beautiful, unforgiving and yet ultimately rewarding. A throwback to the old school days of video gaming.. when you wanted to pop ghosts and goblins out of your NES and throw it across the room. Yes, it's super difficult but a lot of fun! Definitely a must buy for any PS4 owner.

This is probably one of the best PS4 exclusives so far. Despite being a spiritual successor to the Dark Souls games, Bloodborne has a different, faster-paced battle system, as well as a more unique, Lovecraftian, atmosphere. As expected, the difficulty is high, so be prepared to die several times. Bottom line is: buy it, it is really good.

    Favorite Game of All Time

Full Disclosure, I’m a huge fan of all of From Softwares titles, and they surely aren’t for everyone. Just like all of the other games from this developer, Bloodborne asks a lot of you right off the bat, but if you stick with it, and remain calm, you will see yourself improve, and eventually discover the incredible depth and breadth of content in this masterpiece. Failure is a part of the game, and learning from your mistakes is critical. If you can steel yourself to it’s unforgiving difficulty, Bloodborne offers a vibrant (if twisted) world if you’re willing to explore it, and its responsive controls and compelling mechanics make even the most fearsome bosses in this game fair, if painful. I recommend this game to anyone I know that wishes to challenge themselves as a gamer, and I myself have run out of character slots. I simply cannot stop replaying this game.

This is my first time playing these soulborne type games. It can be annoying with the forced grinding and backtracking, but if you enjoy playing a game that does not hold you hands. This is the game. I'll check out dark souls 3 after this game for sure.

Great game with a true challenge! The difficulty can be overcome with dedication and patience, so take it slower than you would normally take on an action rpg. The bosses will get your heart pounding and give you a real sense of achievement when you finally take them down!
