Bloodborne is not a game for everyone. If you are a fan of the Souls game series by From Software, then this game is an improved version of those. However, if you just like having fun in a game and playing at your own pace, you may want to wait until Devil May Cry 4: HD.

This is a hard game. What helps is watching the enemy's movements more than your own character. You need to see the enemy' body movements to plan your own character's response in combat. You also need to enjoy tough boss fights.

This next game in the series of amazing titles from From Software is another example of what amazing games are. Perfectly difficult, with the right amount of lore and depth. Everything is just incredible. Also you shove your fist in to enemies for bonus blood echoes.

Lots of fun to play this game. the Bosses are tough, but the nice thing is the NPCs don't get tougher as your character levels up, so you can get to the point where a lot of it is easy.

Bloodborne is this year's early candidate for GOTY. It's combat action is second to none, and it will take all your skill and experience to progress. This is not just hacking and slashing your way thru enemies, you must find a way to survive this hellbound world. Plan ahead, and you will be victorious. Run and gun Cod style, and you'll be flipping this on Craigs.

New to the Souls Games, and this is the first one I've played. I was worried about the difficulty level, but actually, it's just the right level of challenge. There were a few parts that were so intense that my heart felt like it was pounding in my head. Good game.

Do you hate free time? Do you like throwing things? If the answer to either question is yes, then buy bloodborne. Be sure to pick up extra controllers too, because you will break then repeatedly by throwing them at walls floors or glass valuables around your house.

A game that nods to the days of old where games didn't hold your hands and it was game over when you died. We used to spend hours and hours trying to beat one part of one level in the 90s and this game can give you that challenge if you desire it.
