As of this writing I still have yet to open my copy, but have been watching my bro play his and the game seems fun and he tells me this game is hard and this and that. Hopefully one day I'll get to my copy and play the game.

This game is incredibly difficult and unforgiving. If you grew up playing old school NES and arcade games and miss the constant deaths and obtuse story telling then this might be for you. If Castlevania 2 was made today it might look a bit like this.

If you are used to the Souls franchise then you know what to expect. For those who aren't, it's not a game to play an expect no issues. You WILL die... a LOT. As long as you know this and learn from the game, you'll have a great time.

Very beautiful and challenging game for a good price

classic ps4 title, one of the greatest games of all time with amazing design choices, my only gripe is the locked 30 fps that you can't really do much about

Only issue I have is the framerate, even on the pro. While it stays a t a locked 30 on the pro, the game has some minor and major timing issues, leading to some small stutters. other than that, a fantastic game

I am a fan of FromSoftware games. I love all the Dark Souls series. This another take from the horror side of things. You really appreciate the small accomplishments in this game. Anyone who likes Dark Souls I believe will enjoy this game.

One of the greatest games ever and behind only The Witcher 3 for 2015 releases.

This game reminds me more of Demon's Souls than the Dark Souls games do. It provides me with the same sense of unknowingness and exploration that the original DeS did, however, with more obviously polished and fine-tuned gameplay mechanics.

An absolute monster of a game. Dark, brutal but still there is beauty in all this darkness. The art direction is impeccable and the fighting system is incredibly rewarding and fun. Absolute must buy and the first real system seller for PS4!

I purchased this game as a gift for my grandson's birthday. He is very happy with the game.

This is just like the other 'souls' games except the movement is quicker. This does not make the game any easier though, the challenge is here.

Was hesitant in purchasing until I spoke with a full time gamer. Said it was fun and had differnt skill levels to start out with. You get to build you character for the game which is kind of cool. Good storyline as well.

Game seemed like it had great potential, but the learning curve is way to detail to fully comprehend. If you have the time to understand it, then I'm assuming you'll five in completely and love it. Great detail, and nice theme.

FROM has knocked this one out of the park. Fluid controls and a great "health" system makes the game makes things seem fair, even though the game is brutal. My honest opinion is that there was a focus on the player this time around.

This game is clearly well made and has a rabid fan following in part due to the ridiculous difficulty level. But when you die 100 time 5 minutes into the game it can be a offputting experience.

This is a great game. Mechanics are solid, environments are well done, and weapons look cool. The only thing about this game is it is extremely hard and challenging and frustrating but well worth the money and time and frustration.

Don't get me wrong the game is graphically beautiful. The game is way too difficult to enjoy. I couldn't get past the beginning part and traded it in the first week I bought it.

The Perfect game but its only 30fps 1080p. The DLC is incredible too.
