It’s good; the setting is great— very Victorian gothic stuff that’s neat and not explored much in other games. Buts it’s tough, and as my first Souls-like experience I don’t know if I’m cut out for this kind of gaming.

Bought this as a Christmas present during Black Friday. Saved some good money and my son really likes it. He does think the game can be difficult at times, which makes it a lot more challenging.

Bloodborne was my main reason to purchase a PS4 as I own Xbox Ones to play with my wife separately. This game just didn't deliver for me, I am a very active gamer and always make time to play all games but this one just didn't do it for me as the mechanics were all over the place and difficulty was odd as I love playing all games on the most extreme difficulty (whats the fun of the game if you beat it in seconds?) Graphics were good, monsters are cool; just not for me.

This is basically Dark Souls meets Monster Hunter. Which is fine but just not my type of game. I heard so much about it that I decided to give it a try, for only $20 bucks you can't go wrong.

The game is overall good, plays like a faster dark souls. The story is weak if not absent and the game play is repetitive. Good game play and fairly unique, but you will grind the same area over and over.

The game is a good test of patience. The game sets you up for failure. However the art work is amazing and the story is good. I would like a better game play

Was very skeptical going in, as I had heard about brutal difficulty and sparse story, but I soon learned it was about learning and being patient and about subtle storytelling. Loved it.

FROM makes great games, I've only briefly played this one but it's just as fun as the Dark Souls series. Looking forward to continuing to the end.

Bloodborne features great landscapes to explore and takes full advantage of the PlayStation 4's power. However, the combat is very repetitive and the lack of direction could be a major con for gamers.

I love this gothic/vampire-demon hunter concept, not too dificcult, but also not a cakewalk, lots of enemies to hunt down and good vaerity of weapons to use, great overall!

You run around as some hunter to defeat enemies and bosses. The game is very difficult and it can be frustrating at times. There are no checkpoints and if you die, you end up back where you started.

Feels like a causal version of dark souls, great for anyone trying this type of game for the first time/beginner. Also enjoyable for veterans as well. Update helped quite a bit with the load screens.

The next game is the souls series is even more vicious then it's predecessors. For seasoned veterans its a challenging return to the madness. For new comers it's like trying to climb my Everest blind folded without any gear. Either way tread carefully.

Another one of those classics that you want to have in your library to give you more variety in your library.

If you liked Demon Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2, you will like this. The environment looks great and the character movement feels a lot snappier than the Souls games. I am really digging it. :)

The game isn't for everyone. If you don't like rage quitting and dying a lot then move on. The game forces the player to figure things out on their own and keep trying numerous tactics as well as read to determine the actual story.

This game was great!! I'm new to these type of of games and this one was perfect to break me in. I was amazed by how detailed the worlds are and how they intertwined. A must have for ps4 owners

I'm a big fan of the Demons/Dark Souls series, so that's probably why I feel this way about Bloodborne, but I'd have to say that this is, still, the biggest reason to get a PS4 over an XBone.
