One of the best looking games on PS4 and its solid to play as well. It can be had for a song now (under $20) so if you haven't picked it up and you like action/rpg then this a good way to burn 40hrs.

This game will kill you over and over again and you'll keep coming back for more. It's a gorgeous Victorian Gothic setting with Dark Souls type of difficulty and gameplay. Highly recommend.

This game, like the "Souls" series before it, is exceptionally well-made, but perhaps enjoyable only by players who are prepared for its idiosyncrasy. It is difficult--about as difficult as Dark Souls and Demon's Souls. It is obtuse--there are a number of systems to learn, few of which explain themselves. It is rewarding--no battle feels unbalanced, nor does the heightened difficulty feel hard for hard's sake. I never felt cheated when I failed. I recommend this game to most action-adventure/RPG fans. It is probably one of the first console-selling exclusives of this generation.

Bloodborne is a fantastic looking game, it's not your traditional hack and slash. The makes you think of every move, attack, and how you approach enemies. Dying on this game make you feel empty but wanting more

Bloodborne had been on my radar ever since it's announcement. But I remember the pain and anguish of playing similar games, and also the utter satisfaction once completing such difficult games. This game plays slightly different in which you cannot block, but instead either evade or counter with your secondary weapon. Playing Bloodborne will take a lot of patience, trial and error, and remembering patterns. While I find this game fun, you definitely can't play for 30 minutes and hope to progress. The save/check points are far from each other and there are usually a slew of enemies in between said points, add in some bosses, mini bosses, and random tougher than normal enemies which reset upon death, you'll be running through the same area for several hours. I would recommend this to anybody who likes a challenge and likes an RPG feel to a game. This is not for the casual gamer.

I bought a PS4 earlier this year. There was a lack of the "must-have" game for either the PS4 or Xbox One, until Bloodborne came out. Bloodborne is a cryptic story with difficult gameplay and fast paced combat. It is definitely a difficult game and at first I was constantly dying but once you get used to it and begin to build your character the difficulty isn't so daunting. I have never played a Souls game but love Bloodborne and the difficulty reminds me of the old-school SNES/Genesis games where games were actually challenging. I definitely recommend Bloodborne as the combat is intense, the graphics are great depicting the bleak environments perfectly and the game play is fantastic. It is hard to stop playing this game.

This is an excellent game, but you must know what you're getting into first. This is a very difficult game, especially if you've never played a "souls" game before. Bloodborne requires a lot of patience, but is exponentially satusfying once you get the hang of it.

I was afraid to buy this game because I'd read it was too difficult. So glad I did give it a try, because it's brilliant. Yes, it does take work to get good at it, but it's an amazing game once you do.

If you're new to Souls series, chances are you'll contemplate a lot on rage quitting the game. Don't! The game is brutally tough for the beginners, but it becomes addictive gradually. And you won't be able to stop thinking about it. I haven't played any of the Souls games before, so I'm new to the genre. It took some for me to get into the game, but now I'm totally hooked.

One of, if not *the* best games out for the PS4. All the action of the Dark Souks series but with faster and more forgiving combat. Definitely worth a try even if you found the previous games too difficult.

For under twenty dollars you get an excellent addition to the Souls Borne series. Addictive and challenging. The production value is very high and makes for a great atmospheric experience.

This game is hard. Failure comes often, but never cheaply. But addictively fun. I cant wait to play it again. If you liked Demon/Dark Souls - this is a no brainer. If you hated them - what's wrong with you?

Bloodborne is one of the best games I've ever played. I'm normally an FPS kind of girl, but my husband loves RPG's and made me play it. It's extremely challenging, and you're going to have to grind a bit, but it never gets old. The graphics are great and the gameplay is super smooth and responsive. The controls take a little while to master, just because there is so much you can do, but once you get it, you'll realize they're perfect. The content is disturbing and creepy and super neat. Make sure you read the guide as you play because the game does not explain anything to you and you'll end up missing out on a lot. I absolutely loved this game and will probably play it again in the future.

Bloodborne is one of the best games for PS4. Excellent gameplay, story, and art design. It will be a challenge getting through the end. I recommend adding this in your collection.

Great reviews about the game I recently purchased, I love the graphics and story line. This highly anticipated game didn't let me down. Would recommend to anyone who is an experienced gamer or beginner.

And it's not even officially a "Souls" title! Solid combat, beautiful art, and brilliant level and enemy design make this game as incredibly challenging as it is fun. Best title on the PS4, hands down.

If you are tired of the current easy mode games pick this game up. it is a challenge but it is no rewarding once you understand the mechanics. one of the best games out on ps4 right now!

I've never played any of the Demon/Dark Souls games before Bloodborne, so was a little hesitant on whether I would enjoy Bloodborne or not. The answer is YES! It offers a deep gameplay mechanic system full of wonderful environment/levels and enemies and bosses that really challenge you. You will die a lot in the game, but that really ends up being part of it's charm - like a puzzle you get to solve on your own, or with the help of friends. The game also has 3 different endings, allowing for great replay value. Strongly recommend! I bought my PS4 for this game and The Order and haven't regretted it. All the past exclusives for PS4 haven't lived up to the hype, but Bloodborne definitely has - go buy it!

One of the main reasons why i ever bought a PS4 was for Bloodborne. From the gameplay to the atmosphere this game delivers the hype. If you own a PS4 do yourself a favor and get this game!

Difficult to start, but once i got the hang of things, this game is totally addicting. Pulling all nighters with these soul games!!!! highly recommended for those gamers who are seeking a challenge!
