This game plays a little like Dark Souls, not as challenging but still only for dark core gamers.

I bought this game and my expierence may be a little skewed as I haven't played the others in the series, I don't really like the game mechanics but most people who love this game have already played one in the series, I wouldn't say it's a horrible game just not for me. I love how dark it is, but when it comes to game play, I feel like the mechanics and the overall contrast (as in the colors) are severely lacking.
