Play it, it is so good and is one of the best games from the ps4 generation and also plays well on the ps5. It is a souls game and asks alot of you as a player, but it also is such a rewarding experience if it is for you.

This is easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. The combat is amazing and very addicting. The art style is one of the most beautiful styles in all of video game history. The soundtrack and sound design is top notch. I can keep going and praising this game. I will remember this game for the rest of my life. If you didn’t get the hint yet from this review, do yourself a favor and buy this game. It truly is one of a kind and shows the potential of video games in general.

As an avid Dark Souls 2 fan (250+ hours on my main), I had high hopes for Bloodborne. I was not disappointed. This game quickly became my new addiction. If you are a Souls fan you will undoubtedly enjoy the experience of Bloodborne. As expected, there are quite a few similarities to the Souls series. The combat is much more aggressive, which is a change I appreciate. I love the "figure it out yourself" component of From's games. If you want a game to lead you by the hand, go play Mario. This isn't a game that is kind to most casual players. If you are new to these games, take my advice and learn to dodge! This may actually be the greatest game I've played.

Purchased on sale for $19.99, would have been worth full price. The game is difficult but very fair. The atmosphere and sound is impressive. A must own game for any PS4 gamer.

As a gamer since original Atari days, I have played my fair share of tough games. Bloodborne is a throwback to the days when games were hard, yet rewarding if you put the time and effort into them. This game is not for everyone, but if you want a great challenge that also happens to be a lot of fun, then this is the game for you. It's also a great showcase for the PS4...The only minor complaint I can think of is that loading times can be long after certain situations. This will supposedly be addressed in an upcoming patch....

I'm a huge Demon Souls fan, but couldn't get into Dark Souls. Now bloodborne comes along and is supposed to be more faster pace souls game and it is the combat is fluid and very responsive. The problem is Souls games are not for me anymore. In this game you don't know when your about to encounter a boss, when in the other souls games usually they would be behind a fog door. So I'm exploring and have a ton of blood echoes (credit to upgrade) and boom I walk into a boss unknown and he mops the floor with me...I just don't have time to do this type of game anymore. So if your still a huge fan of all souls games you will like this however not for me anymore...

Very difficult but its a great game. Can also be played on the PS5, but there are no upgrades for it.

Works great and is such a fun game if you enjoy the Dark Souls series. Frustrating at times but very fun.

The graphics and story are really good, but not quite as good as Final Fantasy stories. My husband loves the AC games and loves this one as well. However, I definitely would not recommend playing when children are awake in the house.

I have played many challenging games. This game is as challenging as it comes. It will test your patience in a rewarding way. It is a great game with amazing artwork and action.

I didn't think this game was as hard as everyone says it is. The first mandatory boss was the only one I had lot of trouble beating. It takes a bit of time to learn how to play though. It was hard at first, but once you got the hang of it, it wasn't too bad. I might have been overleveled a little bit though, but I was definitely not trying to level up before bosses. Most of the time I was just exploring all the areas and fighting the enemies, instead of just running past most of them. It is a very complicated world, which I would say I did use Youtube and other sites for help. It is a great game, you just got to get used to the combat system.

Be warned, this is not an easy game. You are in for a challenge. The combat has a learning curve and you need to be smart and patient. Very fun if you can get into that mentality.

This game is mainly for hardcore gamers who like a very challenging game. The graphics and world are breathtaking and the boss fights are a real challenge. The multiplayer part is fairly decent. It does take a little bit to get into someone else's game or to have someone come into yours to help out for a boss or just to run around. The world is huge. There are a lot of different routes to explore. Overall this game deserves a 9/10 from me. If you want a challenging game that isn't easily beaten then this is for you.

This is a very good game but be warned it is pretty difficult if you are not used to the playing style. It is fun and entertaining just dont hope to pass it in a couple of hours.

To be honest, I bought PS4 for Final Fantasy 15 and I didn't expect too much on other PS4 games. BUT this Bloodborne, is definitely worth the money. I am not a good action player, and of course I died countless time in this time, from the very beginning. However, I really enjoyed the art and action design of the enemies and bosses. Anyway, this is a must-have game for your PS4 and if you are still hesitating on that, purchasing it right now! I have never seen a game that maintain its price for such as long time!

After two years of the PS4 launch, i've finally found a game that's actually worth buying a PS4. Bloodborne is one of the most well designed, gameplay heavy titles i've experienced in a long, long time. It's a tough-as-nails action adventure title set in a gothic world full of cursed monsters and large beasts. The first few hours can feel like a drag, but in hindsight it acts as a tutorial, teaching you everything you need to know in the first area of the game. It's long and tedious but serves it's purpose. After that the entire game is an absolute blast, which shouldn't be missed by anyone. From software has done it again.

This game is difficult....at times frustrating beyond belief. But it is worth the time. I have played it with 2 other people and it has been a great experience. Almost through the DLC now and then on to the final boss.

This is a great game that is brutally difficult but immensely rewarding. If you're in for a challenge and want to play something that really emphasizes gameplay, this game is it!
