This game is BRUTAL! But the pay off is well worth it. The first must-have exclusive for PlayStation 4. Can't recommend it enough...and yeah...prepare to die...ALOT

Got this game for $15. Great graphics and audio and the story as well as the game play is second to none. Extremely difficult so not for the weary.

This game is tough. No learning time at beginning makes it tough to pick up and just go full speed. Lots of dying but if you like difficulty this will not disappoint. Old game but graphics look good

This game has a great concept and the follow though for production is awesome!! Interface and controls allow for great gameplay and the story pulls you in.

Bloodborne is by far the best game available for PS4 owners currently. It's a third person action game that sees you in the shoes of a hunter, seeking a mysterious item called Paleblood. Your hunt brings you to Yharnam, a dilapidated city that brings to mind images akin to victorian london, which is currently plauged by a curse and "The Hunt". You must survive your journey through Yharnam, defeating any enemies in your path, and find the truth behind Paleblood. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is at once simplistic and deep, easy to get into but tough to master, and is without a doubt a must need item

The game is awesome. The graphics are good with great game play and lots of details. The game has so much challenge at times that it can be frustrating, but worth it!

This game is simply fantastic by every measure. The gameplay is a huge step above previous Souls titles, the visuals are fantastic, the art direction is divine, the OST is surreal, and the networking experience has improved. If you've ever liked a Souls game or been interested in those, go ahead and just jump into this. If you haven't done either but aren't sure that you -hate- that kind of challenge, give this a fair shot. Just know that this game gives to you ten times what you put into it, but that what you put into it is still a fairly high toll. It's going to challenge you to be better, all the time!

A great game along the lines of Demons soul's and Dark souls. Combat is a bit laggy at times and definitely very visceral. The rewarding feeling when you get past a challenging portion is definitely a plus- this level of difficulty is exceedingly rare in modern games; this being a breath of fresh air. That being said, it can get a tad repetitive, especially if you've played the aforementioned games.

Bloodborne's main draws are its silky smooth and satisfying combat and the excellent world crafting that it carries out. Areas and monsters are all unique and all creepy. This game is punishing but very rewarding.

Hard but amazing game definitely recommend for people who like horror games or old games so much fun

I'll be honest, didn't finish this game. but I'm not reviewing it on difficulty, the game itself is great, just really hard especially on the harder difficulties..

Buy a spare controller for when you break yours in the first hour. You'll still have a blast, just take your time and exercise that patience.

This is a 'Souls' game. If you know what that means, read on. If not, back away slowly. This game is too much for you to handle. Joking aside, Bloodborne holds true to all the tennents of the Souls genre. It's brutally hard, makes no excuse for being so, and never lets you forget it. You will die. And then you'll die again. And then...once you do that several hundred times, you'll do it again. Bloodborne doesn't hold your hand or give you a break. It wants to beat you into submission. It wants you to rage quit. If, however, you stick it out you are in for one of the best new games of this console generation. The setting is spot on, the mechanics are solid, and...well, you get the idea. Read this far? Then buy the game already.

It takes a few steps back -- namely in consumable items and quick travel -- and the loading times (as of launch) are a bit much to bear at times. (I'd like to rate it a 4.5 for this.) However, everything else is absolutely excellent. Bloodborne rips the Souls franchise out of its familiar high fantasy setting, dropping it squarely into a gothic Victorian quasi-steampunk setting about the study of beasts, blood, dreams, and religious fanaticism. Fans of the Souls games simply should not miss this. Already an instant classic in the vein of "Dark Souls," possibly even eclipsing it -- time will tell.

Bloodborne isn't a game for everyone. If you've never played the Souls series, this game will be a challenge. In some ways it's easier than the Souls games, but it also has moments where it's a lot more difficult. If you dislike incredibly challenging games that require a bit of a time sink to fully grasp and learn their intricacies, Bloodborne isn't for you. But if you have a bit of spare time on your hands and don't mind learning how to play a game like this, check it out.

Tough but fair. Challenging but rewarding. I can't recommend this game enough. If your a fan of the Souls series or just like a challenge, buy this immediately!!

This game has great graphics and it has a unique feel to the game. The developers are the same as the guys that made Dark Souls. It is also as hard as Dark Souls so be prepared to die a lot.

This game has it all. It's has some incredible graphics and game play. Be ready for the fight of your life because this game is definitely not easy.

Beautiful, darkly gorgeous game. I've avoided this and the Dark Souls-family titles from listening to the stories of how hard they are. While I haven't had the time to get far, from all I've seen, it's very doable to learn this game, and the beauty makes it worthwhile in the meantime. Highly recommend. Many thanks to Best Buy for offering this title for a value price; I wasn't looking for a game that day, most especially this game, but after all of it's accolades, I had to try at that price. So glad I did. :)

Lots of fun. Extremely fast paced, and stresses importance of learning to dodge and learn attacks. DLC is extremely hard. Overall very satisfying.
