I've been a gamer for over 28 years and have played and enjoyed all types systems and genres over my years, including RPG's. Bloodborne is definitely a game that I applaud for restoring the sense of challenge and skill of old schools and maintaining the fun factor found in the same. I'm about half-way through and have enjoyed many hours of battles and defeat and want to play more! A game intended for those who desire a long experience and are not afraid of a challenge.

I am only about 5 hours into the game but it is my favorite by From software so far. There are minor irritations, like having to travel back to the safe hub to fast travel anywhere and the load times seems agonizing long. This could be just my imagination though since the loads screen only says 'Bloodborne' instead of having something interesting to read like the other games. I have yet to play online with anyone yet so I dont know if that has changed a lot or stayed the same. Overall, I have had an incredible amount of fun so far and have a hard time prying myself away from this game.

Great game. It's difficult at first but as you progress, get new weapons and level up, things go a lot smoother. Learn the enemy tendencies and you'll be fine.

Not a bad game at all. The mapping and maneuverability of the character is among some of the best work to date. Good story line and challenging tasks make this game one worth buying.

Spin-Off of the famous Demon's Souls & Dark Souls series, Bloodborne takes heavy gameplay influences from its predecessors and simultaneously improves on virtually every aspect of it. With an engrossing atmosphere, enemies as challenging as they are disturbing, and a unique and enthralling set of awesome hunter weaponry, Bloodborne is sure to make you fall in love instantly.

The game looks awesome and is really brutal. The game is definitely really hard and will make you want to toss your controller. It is definitely a challenge.

This is by far one of the best games on the PS4. Difficulty can be a bit tough but it is very rewarding once you beat it

This is the first game I have played in the Souls series, and it's already at the top of my favorite PS4 games list. It is difficult and forces you to learn through trial and error. However, after the learning curve, it is addicting. Even when I was struggling at first, I still enjoyed the game and kept wanting to replay sections. Since there aren't any tutorials or explanations on how things work in the game, it definitely helps to play with someone or gain some knowledge online. I play with a friend that has experience in Souls games and have learned a lot about how things work.

This could be a challenging, yet very satisfying game if you're patient. The game gets easier as you get used to the fight mechanics. Definitely recommended!

Ecxellant game for those with patients and cunning. This is not for button mashers as all that does is get you killed. Beautiful graphics and great story.

This game is really hard and can be frustrating. Its not for everyone but the graphics are great and if you love challenge I recommend Bloodborne!

I really enjoy the fact that Bloodborne takes me back to the days when games presented a great challenge, with tough enemies and epic boss fights. Having never played any of the Souls game, I had to learn how to fight and properly upgrade my character, but once I got the hang of the controls and how enemies react (and the timing to counter attack), I started to get better and better at the game. I highly recommend this game if you love action-adventure games such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. You'll also enjoy it if you're a fan of horror and Lovecraft lore.

This action RPG is not the same as other RPG game. There is a curve to learning the game with understanding that you will die while taking on bosses. It is a fun game and it will be worth your time.

Fun game that punishes you harshly but fairly for your mistakes. A successor of dark souls, get this game if you enjoy a challenge.

FromSoft never fails to deliver. Bloodborne has great world design and mechanics. The lore can be missed if does not look at item descriptions. However, the what's fun about Bloodborne is exploring every inch and fighting bosses. Evey boss has excellent music. The only thing that can scare a new player is the difficulty... the game has no difficulty options.

The first thing I heard about this game was that it's like Dark Souls but I've never played Dark Souls. I was very surprised at the difficulty of Bloodborne and was totally taken off guard the first time I played it. Not really hard, just a very thought provoking strategy game. You need to plan your attacks before you even think about doing anything. If you like a fun challenge and enjoy immersing yourself in a game then this is the game for you! Enjoy!

There are so many great things about this game. The fighting mechanics are simple at first but the more you delve into the more complex it is. And after 10 hours in, I still find new ways to kill enemies. It's a difficult game like the other "souls" games but it just makes dying mean something and reminds me of when games used to be hard and rewarding. The graphics are awesome especially with the Victorian Gothic art style. Frame rate sometimes dips and load times are too long but with how much fun this game is, it is forgivable. I highly recommend this game.

One of the best soulslike games I’ve ever played. Definitely recommend, even if Elden Ring was your entry point.

I have only played about 20% of the game so far, but the graphics & visuals are phenomenal and it's fun to play. Original story and pretty challenging.
