This is my review coming from someone who didn't play Dark Soul I & II. This game is hard, hard, hard... but i like it. This is one of the few games I have ever played where you just can't breeze through the story with no difficulty. This game is very challenging but enjoyable. The graphics are beautiful, soundtrack is great, and the whole theme of the game is amazing. I have played the game for five hours now, and it seems I just barely completed a tiny tiny portion of the game. This is a MUST buy exclusive, the hype is real, the scores don't lie

Very Nice game, Is not an easy videogame, You need to learn how to play, but is one of the best exclusives from ps4, I recommend this game.

Bloodborne is not a game for everyone. It's very difficult, but once you beat it there's no better satisfaction. Every enemy brings a new challenge and you must come up with a new way to win.

I love this game! I was unfamiliar with Dark Souls and Demon Souls games when I first bought this. Yes it can be hard and requires a lot of grinding, but once you're used to the mechanics of the game and have developed you character some it is quite fun. But I would recommend if you're interested in this game, you buy the game of the year edition from the UK. It has all of the DLC content and updates on disk. It's really worth it and the UK disks will play on consoles in the US

It was only $9 dollars. It was a deal I couldn’t pass up. The game is great if you’re into challenging boss fights. If not, then I wouldn’t recommend it.

This game plays a bit more quicker than Dark Souls, which to me is a plus. It is still a tough game.

Bloodborne is obtuse and challenging. Do not expect any guides or handholding. This game is about trial and error and exploration. The environment and atmosphere of Bloodborne are incredibly enjoyable, as well as the varying enemy types. You will need to learn each foe's tactics to and moves to advance, but as you slowly progress and enhance your character you will get a sense of accomplishment that is lacking from so many games these days. Buy this game if you are looking for a sincere challenge, with an obtuse story; and a sense of accomplishment.

Is your life too easy? Do you find yourself enjoying your free time too much? Then get this game. Bloodborne is the perfect way to introduce some stress in your life. Sick of the minimap taking up valuable real estate? No worries here, there are no maps. Leveling up too easy? Not a problem, you'll lose tons of experience when you can reclaim your bloodspirits. This game has it all. So if you like profanity and throwing the controller across the room, this is the perfect game. It's even better as a gift

Blood Borne: it is a good game, but I found it very hard and difficult to play. Maybe it's just me. I don't play very many action adventure RPG's and mainly like games such as: Call of Duty, and GTA5... Prepare to die a lot in the game. You'll have to level up a whole lot if you want to stay in the game and defeat your evil foes. I only played it a few times before I called it quits. It requires a lot of time and patients. All in all Good Action Adventure RPG. I recommend it if your into those types of games. Three stars from me everyone.

If you like Dark Souls and games that punish you for playing, then this game is for you. The game looks amazing and the combat system is faster.

Haven't played many of the Souls games before now, just a bit of dark souls 2, but I like this one so far. Requires patience, any enemy in the game can kill you quickly if you are careless.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. It is very addicting and it is thought to put down and stop playing. If you have a PS4 then you owe it to yourself to play this game. There are so many things to do in this game that you'll be playing it for hours on end. There is so much attention to detail put into this game, the graphics are great, and it provides a good challenge. Yes this game is tough and I was very discouraged playing it for the first couple of hours, but once you get the hang of it you'll never wanna put this game down.

Bloodborne is one of the only (if not THE only) game of 2015 that has lived up to the hype it has garnered. Although not a perfect game, the cons are VASTLY overshadowed by the pros. If you're a fan of the Souls series, than this is a must own title, hands down. With one of the most diverse and interesting online communities of any game, help is always around the corner (or treachery...). I don't want to make this review too long, so if you're still on the fence, just watch one of the many various reviews on YouTube. I love this game. 9.5/10

If this game isn't in your library, you really need to pick it up. From Software delivers yet again and gives gamers a new Souls-like game that truly tests your limits and your patience. Despite its difficulty, it is extremely rewarding once you understand the mechanics of different enemies and bosses. Combined with the fantastic soundtrack and the engrossing environment, this game stands as one of the greatest action/RPG games of all time and easily is among the top PS exclusives. This game is an absolute must have.

I wish I had picked this up sooner, this game is awsome. The visuals are top notch as are the animations. Just be aware that it requires patience because the game is difficult.

I'd highly recommend Bloodborne to anyone who has been a Souls fan in the past. If you haven't enjoyed any of From Software's games on the 360/PS3/PC, then Bloodborne is actually a good spot to jump in and see what everyone has been talking about. Don't get me wrong, the game is brutal, but it's also a bit less enigmatic than previous games in the Souls series. The gameplay is fast and satisfying, and the gothic setting of Yharnam is one of the most unique I've explored in a video game. Definitely an early front-runner for game of the year.

The game is somewhat similar to dark souls. The game is just as challenging and fun as the dark souls series. So if you enjoy DS you'll probably enjoy blood borne.

Great game reminds you of castlevania but updated for modern era great fights monsters look cool but its a hard game not for beginners

After hearing glowing comments from my friends, I decided to give Bloodborne a try. Never having played the "Souls" games, I jumped into the Lovecraft-inspired world fully expecting to be challenged and possibly frustrated. Unsurprisingly, I died. I died a lot. That being said, a significant part of the appeal of these types of games is being able to learn from your mistakes and make steady progress as you go along. I have not finished Bloodborne yet, but I'm having a fantastic time working through the game's mechanics and atmosphere.
