It's very hard, but incredibly rewarding. I never got into dark souls, but with just a few tweaks, I think this is a much more appealing game.

If you like challenging games then this masterpiece is worth the pick up. Fair warning though this game is not easy, and you will DIE a LOT!

This game is hard, very hard, but it is intended to be that way. A very good challenge with a macabre storyline and tons of gore. Very creepy game, hard to master, but fun at points.

I know it is not the fault of the game, the game is great. But the PS proposed solution of downloading the game updates didn’t solved anything. Anyway, I got it after playing Elden Ring, if you are looking a good game with a similar mechanic: you found it.

I would describe this game as dark souls but faster and more fluid. I would say it is a great continuation of the souls style of games.

If you can survive the initial few hours of difficult gameplay, you'll find one of the deepest and most engaging Action RPGs ever made.

I just picked this up, and so far it is my favorite PS4 game. This is similar to the dark souls games in a lot of ways, but the combat is more offense than defense. No shields, but you have a melee weapon and a pistol. The thing that makes this game is the setting though - very dark, horror setting instead of the previous medieval setting of dark souls. You will die a lot, but this one is so much fun, it's not as frustrating.

I don't know that might be arbitrary considering how unique Demon Souls was... Even though this game is just a GEM worth the 50 clams for a world of exploring/and sense of great accomplishment that I don't believe exist in most games today... If you are a respawn fan, pick up where you left off this game is different.... IT REQUIRES YOUR TOTAL FOCUS at all gaming time.... just a gem in my opinion I can't wait to see what Miyazaki does next!!! Are for Souls games. The gameplay is super fluid and just feels right. Punishing but not defeating. Loved every second of the game.

Bloodborne is the PS4's killer app. It's easily 2015's best single player experience and the single best reason to own a PS4 right now. If you are hesitant at the difficulty, don't be. The game, while challenging, offers a co-operative mode that allows you to call forth allies to help you out. The gameplay itself is challenging but very rewarding. The environments are beautiful and the story is intriguing. Most importantly, the combat is incredibly fun and rewarding, and the exploration is great. Don't miss out on this.

Bloodborne is an excellent hack and slash rpg. The combat is engaging, fun and addictive. The enemies are menacing, and the setting is foreboding. It all takes place in this dark, gothic world, from some forgotten Victorian era. The aesthetic of it all is very pleasing, providing the game some very awesome and unique graphics. The game happens to also be home to some very cool boss encounters and designs, and it even offers a fun cooperative mode to tackle the challenges. Its a great game. I highly recommend it. 5 Stars

As a veteran Souls series player, Bloodborne is obviously my most anticipated game of the year. And it does not disappoint. The game play is a much faster paced game compare to the previous titles, overall difficulty is harder, while still very enjoyable. Only concern is the framerate problem, I've had multiple issues when going through a fog game the game freezes, and from time to time the game's framerate will drop quite a bit. But game experience wise, it is still what I hoped and it is a must-buy for any Souls game lovers.

Its a pretty hard game, visuals are great. this game will take many many hours to complete. I played more than 10 hours and I am hooked!

The beauty of the Gothic backdrop mixed with the frantic action leaves you coming back no matter how brutally unforgiving the game is.

Awsome game, its challenging and the story is very deep. There are so many details on the graphics.

Haven't gotten very far in this game yet. There doesn't seem much to the story and it's definitely challenging, but it's fun to play. It's a great buy and addictive to play.
